DanskinWomen's Capri Athletic Legging

I'm short. The amount of petite capris available is slim pickings and even then most of them are still too long! I'm 5'1" and can barely ever find capris that are short enough for me so when I finally come across a short enough crop legging which are also pretty hard to find anymore, I grab a hold and never let go until they inevitably let me down by discontinuing them. They're thick enough to not be see through but thin enough to breath. Legs are perfectly tight to smooth everything out and give enough compression to help a bit with aches and pains but without being uncomfortable. The waistband is nice and wide and smoothes out that belly. Another problem with being so short is high waist being so popular....when you're barely over 5 foot then that high waist turns into a one piece strapless suit. It's so unfair that these companies only make what's popular- these are mid waist for me - just covering or just under the belly button depending how high I pull them. Ah perfect! So if you are tall these will be lower rise for you- definitely under the belly button. Medium tension stretch. Not super loose or super tight stretch; just the right balance. They stay put too and super comfy. The only thing that would make these better is pockets but alas these are pretty basic so no pockets but the side seem is super flattering as it curves a bit towards the front of the leg to the outer side of the knee but not quite over the knee cap. It's slimming and helps elongate my short little legs. Only strange thing is where the pants connect to the wide waist, looks kind of wonky but you cant tell at all once they're on. Definitely buying more. Just wish the price was a little lower considering they're very basic.

Update: Added another star because I'm ordering another pair. These leggings are very comfortable, the cotton-to-spandex ratio makes a good mid-weight fabric and my fold-over waist solution stands up to activity. All that plus they hold their shape well. So I hope that the leggings I receive are identical to the first pair!These are different from the Danskin capri I was replacing in a couple of unusual ways.The waist circumference is huge.The waistband is wide and stiff.The leg seams curve to the front center of your leg.I'm a tiny person, small everywhere but the waist--an apple body shape. Most shorts and leggings that fit my legs properly are too tight in the waist, basically unwearable with too much muffin top. So I'm thrilled that these aren't too tight.However, the waist is too loose because I'm small. What saves these for me is I can fold the whole waistband over once and the fit is perfect around my hips, but not too low. They stay up for regular living--I haven't worked out in them. I'm willing to keep leggings I have to fold over because the fit in the legs is flattering and the curved seams are beautiful. AND, every other kind I order are too tight in the waist!

I have been wearing Danskin leggings for years and always loved them. These are much thinner than all of the previous pairs I have had. The waistband in these are nothing like the others either. These have a huge band of elastic and it makes them not very flattering. The size is still true, I am 5’4” and 135lbs, I don’t like my leggings loose so I get a small and these fit as far as size the same as before. This material is rough and itchy. Also the quality is not there, my right leg has a huge string where it wasn’t sewn. This string is attached at the top and the bottom but didn’t get sewn on the seam. So I’m betting these won’t last long at all. The color already looks faded and I just opened the package. Not happy. See photos.

I expect quality from Danskin, but this pair goes beyond expectations - it's an improvement on the previous Danskin pair I wore down and needed to replace after many years. For 30 waist 41" hip 125 lbs. Medium fits perfect. Waistband is a bit higher than I'm used to, (I wear hipster pants a lot) - but I like the fit a LOT.Here's what works about these pants:*The new design is more flattering... Instead of straight seams that go down the sides like my old pair, there is an angle to the seam. It looks good on and fits contour and curves much better. Less 'boxy" look.*Composition of Cotton and Spandex is "just right"... It's both form fitting (spandex part) and comfortable (cotton so it breathes). Material is just the right thickness. Made me realize how worn my old pair were!*The cuff of the pants hugs your calf, vs. flops open or gaps. Result is a cleaner look that hugs/ shows off your shape.Ordering another pair. LOVE them.Keep a watch out for these to buy them on Prime days.I got them on Amazon Prime day for a slight discount.

I have 2 pair of Danskin capris that are wearing out from lots of use. The new product is absolutely unacceptable. Danskin should be ashamed!

I had a pair of Danskin like these, and have worn them for years. It was time for a new pair, so I chose these. They are a little different than my other pair - not as shiny, and the seam isn’t straight down the leg; it curves towards the knee which I think is intentional, and it adds a little style. They are very soft and comfortable for working out or everyday wear. I will order more.

These are well made, aren't too skimpily made that they're uncomfortably tight, yet will stay in place. Good leg length, just below the knee. The waist pull-on style has room for movement and isn't confining. Good value, thick enough fabric that it doesn't show everything underneath.
