My favourite portable cup.Short enough to use with an nespresso machines, keeps drinks hot for considerably longer than most travel cups. Also fits in the cup holders in my car.

I'm a big fan of Contigo mugs. Been using one for years, recommended them to friend, family and colleagues, and my only regret has been that they were designed with US cars in mind so are to large to sit in the can-sized cup holder than most European and Japanese cars come with. So when I saw a smaller one that would fit I decided to grab one for those long car journeys.Now the key thing about Contigo thermal mugs is that they have a very good seal mechanism that does not leak and as a result they retain the heat for an awful long time - I've had coffee stay hot for 4 hours before in my main mug. Also once you're used to the mechanism they are comfortable to use.So here we have a bright comfortable mug which does fit in a euro-car cup holder. It has the new lid design which does not leak but is easier to clean. So what's not to like. Well fill it with your choice of drink and seal it. You'll now find that the cup starts to feel warm, not hot but still there is noticeable heat - this is lost heat from the drink. The net result is it will only keep a drink hot for about an hour max, so not really any longer than a far cheaper (though might leak) rival product. A big disappointment.As to quantity - I've no problems with that - I've tested and it is a mug's worth.If using round the house you're better off spending more on one of the Contigo metal mugs such as the Westloop (which is my original one), or if you finish your drinks quickly, just not bother. If you, like me, want to use this for a long journey, then forget it as you'll end up with a cold drink in under a couple of hours.

We initially loved this travel cup. Very good for taking tea out. Although the insulation is not great, it doesn't matter as long as you don't wait ages to drink.However, the seal mechanism has broken after a couple of months. There is a release mechanism on the inside of the lid for cleaning, which requires you to press down and twist. Somehow one side of the plastic lip has snapped off, meaning that the cup now won't seal. Disappointing for the price of this, which is definitely top-end.

No more gulping coffee so it does not go cold. This makes so much difference - loved it so much bought another for my husband for when he is working outside. Really does not leak and keeps coffee warm for ages

As others have said, this doesn't keep the contents hot, or cold. The cup does keep the contents in the cup, even after a 1.3m drop.With black tea or coffee the cup stains easily.The main problem is that it taints the taste of the contents with an unpleasant plastic taste.All in all very disappointed and can't even send it back due to the staining.I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Simply doesn't retain heat for long enough. It's a warm coffee within the hour so not much use for me. The metal, larger one is much better and retains heat.
