In the beginning it feels like it is doing a proper job, but actually the water just stays under the matt which technically never dries if kept on the floor, it needs to be hanged to partially dry. mine has black spots on it that wont go so i just had to throw it because it is constantly wet.

It's a mat that absorbs water to a certain capacity so if you're soaked it's obviously going to be wet. I left mine on the floor anyway and it was dry in the morning. Stays in place, is soft and adds a nice little modern touch to my bathroom.Side note: if you carry a lot of water for whatever reason, dry yourself with a towel IN THE SHOWER, and then step on the mat. Leave the mat for a minute and your footprints will disappear.Voila :)
