This little fan can move some air and do it quietly on either of the 3 settings!!!! Less than 5 minute install and ready to go even the remotes. The extenders that are included for floodlight/canister lights are just the right length to get the fan away from the ceiling but not hang down into the room and cause a head injury. The LED light is perfect to be a nightlight or great for brightening a dark space. It too has 3 different settings. The fan is very easy to use with the small remote that even comes with its own holder that can be attached to the wall with a screw or sticky card. They thought of everything! The fan blades are plastic so if you’re using this in a humid space it makes them easy to clean and allows for longevity of the product—no warping or mildew/mold growth. I purchased three at once and will purchase more for the attic and closets. I have recommended them to my entire family. I would definitely gift these to anyone who has a shop or garage worker in their family. Definitely a thoughtful gift/idea.

This little fan serves a need that we didn’t know we needed! It’s like it was designed just for the spot in our garage. It was a regular ol’ socket with a light bulb that came on every time we turned on the main light. That bulb’s light was inconsequential to the main light, so for many years there wasn’t even a bulb in it. But then one day we saw this little fan light and thought that it would be the perfect thing for that spot. Now we make use of that socket with air circulation every time we turn on the main light!This cute little fan light was super easy to assemble. We had it up in a few minutes from tearing into the box. That’s the best part about all the socket lights from Bell Howell; they’re as simple as screwing in a light bulb. We were anxious to try the fan, because this light is also secondary to the main light. So we used the remote to set it to fan high, light off. This little guy is mighty powerful, but in all honesty, you do have to be right underneath it to feel the air. On medium, we felt some moderate air; on low, it was hard to feel the air. But we intended it to be more about air circulation. We never intended it to blow us cool like the stand fan. And yes, this little guy is quite noisy, but it’s only the garage. Use in the house may be more bothersome. But what we really like is the memory on the remote. We read that it defaults to light on/fan off, so we were worried that we’d have to grab the remote and set it up every time we ran into the garage. Nope. It remembers our settings of high fan/no light, so every time we run into the garage and flip the main light switch, this guy comes on to default momentarily and then switches to our settings in a few seconds. It’s like our magic fan!Like we said, we mainly wanted air circulation and not a wind tunnel. And we’ve noticed that with this guy up there doing his thing that the garage air does feel fresher without us even having to think about it. This fan is a most ingenious addition to that socket that was otherwise going to waste. Of course, if we want more light, we can turn that on, too. It seemed pretty bright on low, better on medium, and really bright on high. But next to the main garage light, it’s not really needed in our case. Where has this thing been all our lives? This little fan light is so nifty, we only wish we had more sockets to put one in.

This is the best light, the best fan. It is perfect..the light gives off enough with its 3 levels, the fan with 5 speeds. I now have 2 of se fan/ lights. Great idea and so easy to install. Bell and Howell makes quality products.

I have mixed feelings on this product. It's easy to install, the lights are adjustable and will meet or exceed your expectations, and they remember your settings even after turned off by the wall switch. If you have two of these in the same room, your remote operates both of them equally so keep that in mind if you want to control them individually. It can be done if you learn how to aim the remote at the right fan/light to you want different from the other. That being said what's not to like? Don't expect a big air flow from the fans. They are very small and even at their max speeds the air TWO of them move over my stove area on my 10 foot ceilings is minor. It does move some air, but don't expect too much (with 10 foot ceilings). The only other thing is I installed these into two recessed canister light sockets. Unless your mounting fixtures are not loose, you can expect the fans to wobble. My canisters are just tight enough that the wobble is iminium but just be aware if not fairly tight they will wobble during fan operation. The lights alone make them worth while if you want to replace your old kitchen floodlights, even if you don't use the fans. The lights are a WHITE WHITE color so if you're looking for a warmer feel this is not the product for you.

Hardest part is replacing the fixture already in place with a Edison base fixture. I installed two of these in smaller bedrooms, 10 x 12 or so. Once the base is in place, you just screw it in and turn it on. It actually has three speeds for the fan, and three light levels. You can mix and match, turn either on and the other off, and turn it completely off with the wall switch. Yes, it has memory and comes back on wherever you leave it and turn it off. It’s crazy small blades actually move a lot of air, seriously a good value for a small inexpensive fixture. My dad wants two more installed in his living room now. Impressive little unit, if you’re thinking it might work for you, it probably will! Good luck!

Didn't even know this type of fan existed! And then my husband saw an ad for them. And, sure enough, we found them on Amazon! We installed it in a second bedroom that holds the heat quite a bit. It's not a big room - approximately 9 ft.x10 ft. Installation was easy. If you have just a plain socket in your ceiling, you can screw the fan right into it. We had a bigger light fixture, which we removed and then installed an inexpensive plain socket. The fan went in easily, and it is surprisingly effective for something quite small.It has three fan speeds (as well as three levels of brightness with the light, which is fluorescent), and the intermediate speed does the job for us. Also, the room has a 9 ft. ceiling, and we were doubtful that this fan would be strong enough to make a difference. But it is! A really good buy for a very reasonable price. And it has a remote!

Works great even though the fan arms are small. Light is very bright. Using the 2 extensions it works on recessed lights.

Wow, quede sorprendida con este aparatito, es super chiquito pero con una potencia que no das crédito. No hace nada de ruido, se instala super facil como si fuera un foco y echa muchisimo aire. La unica desventaja que le veo es que solo tiene luz blanca, pero acabo de encontrar otro muy similar que si tiene diferentes tonalidades de luz.
