I was skeptical on if I would like it or if it would be too harsh on my skin. The first use felt too rough but I think it was only because I wasn’t used to it. The second use and beyond have been fantastic. Using this is my favorite part of showering and it is long and makes scrubbing every inch of your body very easy. I will be ordering more for myself and as gifts for everyone so they can enjoy it as well

First let me say that I have been using various brands of the 36" Exfoliating Bath Cloths for about 10 years and couldn't be without them. I am a male in the construction business and I like the cloth to be more coarse than not. Believe it or not the first 2 I bought 10 years ago were a very good coarseness for me but I have never been able to find that particular brand again (and more importantly the same coarseness). All the ones purchased since then just haven't been good enough for me. Then I decided to give these a try. I read many reviews about them first. Well they arrived yesterday and I haven't showered with them yet but I could tell even before unwrapping one of them that these are going to be the best ever. They feel very coarse. A few reviews I read said they soften with use and that may be okay as long as they don't soften too much. I'm not so happy I had to buy a pack of 4. I would rather a a 2 pack for half the price. The ones I have bought over the years last for ever and they weren't the quality of these. I may add to this review if these soften too much. But I doubt they will.

Exfoliation can be anywhere between mild and painful. I had purchased a couple of brushes, sponges and this towel. I was not really happy with this product- not what I expected. Quality and value were fine but it is a bit too aggressive for my liking. The cloth is more like a piece of sandpaper. Not worth returning but I can't use it for its intended purpose. I will probably use them for cleaning dead bugs off my windshield or cleaning the shower tiles.

I do not know why softness was a category for rating because exfoliation requires some sort of abrasiveness. I have been a fan of this product since i first purchased a few years back. Out of convenience, i purchased other exfoliating cloth towels and have been disappointed. This product never disappoints and fulfills its purpose. At first, it feels very coarse and abrasive, but that is the whole point, eventually it will soften up over time. The affordability factor is the 2nd reason i continue to repurchase this product. Once the towel feels soft due to wear-and-tear or a month has passed, it doesn't hurt your wallet to swap for a new one. Great consumable product that has quality and affordability!

After trying half a dozen similar products, I have settled on these scrubbing cloths. They do a serious job of exfoliation like no other product that I've tried. They do a phenomenal (as well as quick and easy) job of scrubbing the back--with the length allowing you to continually adjust the pressure used. The first time I used this on my face, I initially thought it was too rough, but I learned that with plenty of suds and a light touch, I could use it on my face too, even across my eyelids. I really love these exfoliating cloths. The colors in this set are wonderful. The "lavender" shade is more of a bright magenta -- really delightful. They are well constructed, and I expect they'll last a long time.

When my fiancé and i first used these wash cloths we literally questioned the meaning of life and whether or not we had really showered before using these!! We are customers for life! We do not have nor never had sensitive skin and the "scratch" on these is perfect!—

The review asked about “softness” which is funny considering it is made to be used to exfoliate hard to reach places! The pack was a little expensive but worth it. I got one at target on the clearance rack and realized quickly that I needed more for my teenagers as some of them break out severely on their back where they can’t reach to scrub well. These work! My kids backs are clearing up and my skin is staying clear and smooth! Highly recommend this item!!

Gave 5 stars for softness but that was for their briskness. Been looking a replacement for 1 I bought years ago. Greatest way to exfoliate your body, it is exhilarating. It is intense at first but once you get used to it you know you've never cleaned your skin as well ever. Wouldn't recommend using it every day but on a regular basis your skin never felt so good
