My kids love this thing. They are semi-serious cubers and this is just a really fun thing for them to play with. Very well made and it works just like a regular cube, but HUGE size. It's bigger than we expected!Recommend for anyone that likes cubing (but not beginners, it's harder to turn so it might get kind of frustrating for noobs).

I like this product, but it seems to be a little bit small...

This was for my nine year old grandson who collects Rubik cubes. He was so excited. This was the biggest one he ever saw, and he loved it.!

Use this as an example at work, so it’s right in my desk everyday. Since I work in the problem solving business, when we come to an issue I throw them that and say solve it. When they can’t I say give it to the next person and see what happens. But that’s the process I’m trying to show them we are doing everyday. Attempt to solve, get more input for another perspective, and then keep going until you get the problem tackled. Overall size is great I have a lot of people comment on the uniqueness of it. It’s a lot of fun to see people reaction to it alone. Great value for countless conversations I’ve had about it alone. Great piece for my desk.

I LOVE oversized puzzles. And I collect 3x3s of all sizes in general. I have them as small as 1cm and as large as 30cm across. Prior to Diansheng releasing this puzzle (officially the "Diansheng Googol" cube), Heshu was the maker of the two largest 3x3s on the market, an 18cm cube and a 30cm cube. However, as much fun as those were, the build quality and turning on them was awful. Plastic seams that stopped turning dead in its tracks, etc.The Diansheng? None of those issues. It turns sooooo much better than the Heshu models. You're obviously not going to set any speed records with it but it's a lot of fun and is a great conversation piece. And you can even adjust it a bit by loosening or tightening the tensioning screws.If I had any complaints, it would be two - the puzzle arrived with some mild scratches from the factory and the corner pieces are glued together. I had hoped to possibly magnetize the cube but, though the edges come apart no problem, the corners are glued together and can't be taken apart. Thus, can't magnetize it. No stars taken off for that, though, as they don't promise you can take the corners apart. It's just a bit disappointing.Anyway, this is a great oversized 3x3 and worth picking up if that's your thing. See the pic for a size comparison with a normal 3x3 speedcube.

Here's a funny thing about muscle memory; apparently (for me at least) it doesn't always apply at scale. I can whip through a standard cube like many children of the early 80s, but it's all new again as I navigate this much bigger version. The size is really the point of appeal here, it stands out in so many different ways as both a conversational piece and an actual puzzle toy. I half wish the colors were a little more true to the original (perhaps they can't be), but have absolutely no complaints -- the motion is likely a bit better than you imagine they would be, it's light enough for both adults and kids despite the scale, and it's very durable given those two characteristics.Great fun, do recommend.

Item arrived with a crack

I remember when I bought my first Rubik’s cube as a kid. Small, simple, impossible. Fast forward to today, and I’m holding what I can only describe as a cube with delusions of grandeur. At nearly 19 centimeters, this thing is more of a conversation starter than a puzzle. I mean, it’s not that it doesn’t work—it turns, it twists, it even has that classic cube “feel”—but you might want to clear some serious space before you get too into it. And forget casually fiddling with it at your desk unless you’re okay with knocking over your coffee.Its creators seem to think it’s going to cure your stress and possibly unlock your brain’s full potential. But honestly, the only thing it’s unlocked for me is a cramp in my arm. But hey, it’s kind of mesmerizing in its own absurd way. If you’re into statement pieces, this cube has you covered. The real question is: Do you want a puzzle, or a new piece of furniture?

Purchased for a gift so not yet opened. Looks good though. Smaller than the pic represents but still a cute item.

My son collects rubix cubes and this is a great addition to his collection.
