I use the second remote for my wife works great out of the box. No worries.

This is an infrared remote and doesn’t support the air pointer feature. The remote must be pointing at the TV to work. I prefer the wireless remote that supports the air pointer.

I was in need of an remote asap and this was a replica of my husband original remote. Unfortunately my son and dog were playing and the remote fell Into the dog water bowel... rip remote. I can across this and it works perfectly l, however the ball middle button is EXTREMELY SENSITIVE compared to the original remote I had. (Gets annoying sometimes) but it works... I had to call the hubby and explain what happen to his new remote while on deployment lol

Message: the remote does not connect with this Tv.Disappointing- i wanted to be able to use the microphone feature.

I have a 70" LG TV model 70un7070pua that did not come with a magic remote. When I went to the settings menu, I found a screen that says connect magic remote. The problem is it doesn't say what model remote Im supposed to connect. I've tried a few different models, and none of them have worked so far. The remote feels well made. It works with my TV as a regular remote, but it does not give me smart features like voice and a pointer. The remote worked right out of the box without pairing it. I did try the pairing method a few times to see if that would give me the magic features, but it did not. This was an error on my part. The description doesn't list my TV as compatible, so it's not the sellers or Amazons fault. I just took a chance to see if it would maybe work. Unlike some of the other LG aftermarket remotes, this one does have the voice button and advertises the pointer, i just can't confirm they work. As far as a regular remote control, this is a great backup if my original remote breaks or gets lost. My search for a magic remote that will work with my TV continues.

Center button on remote results in display of error message. Every time you press the center button the message reappears and it reports that you cannot use this remote but it does continue to work so if constant pop-ups when you use a remote doesn’t bother you this is the remote for you.

Works just like my original one that came with my TV, has all the same features and commands to my voice as it should. Great Buy! Save money on here by buying one and not through the company where it will cost you more.
