I have my grandson with me regularly and we took a trip from N.M to Maui and had business that kept us there for close to a month. This item is great to do on the airplane and during layovers at the airport. My grandson is 2 1/2 years old and it kept his attention for almost 25 minutes at a time. Plus it is great interacting with him and seeing how much he enjoys this book and the excitement he has when he gets the items right. Great gift and great travel companion when traveling. I would buy this item again.

Thicker and higher quality than I expected. I honestly went into this assuming half the felt pieces would need to be doctored up but they are pretty good quality. My daughter loves to put the felt shapes on and they aren't flimsy. Looks like it will survive toddler hands and tantrums. The buckles are all well sewn on and the ability to zipper on/off pages to help the kid focus on one page is also a plus. The front and back cover is also thick enough that it isn't just a piece of fabric but feels like a fabric binder. I took a chance with this item and overall satisfied. I love the variety of activities available. My 6 year old child wants to play with her sister's toy too.

The quality is great, easy to travel with and store. It is perfect to help with eye hand coordination development, recognition of colors, sizes, numbers, etc. Many hours of fun activity and can be passed down to the next child. This was a big hit and I would have given it a 5 star, but I wish it had a pocket to store some of the pieces when you need to put away quickly after play time.

best in the car activity

The media could not be loaded. Our 2.5 year old is going to love this for a long car ride coming up.Previous versions had the word "circle" for the oval shape but mine has been updated. Also I'm not sure if previous versions had Velcro on only one side, but mine has it on the shape and where it belongs on the pageThis is made it of a heavy duty stiff felt. Two pages can be zipped out ( great if you have other kids because this can be split between them) the blank page (blank on both sides) is loose and does not zipper in.The Velcro works well and comes off easily enough for a little one but stays on well enough that they don't fall off. Handles are also made of stitched felt. Edges of each page is stitched nylon webbing. I wish the handles were made of the same but I can always wrap with duct tape or sew on webbing if they become an issue. Comes in a clear zipper plastic bag which I am going to use to keep this clean when in use.I will update in a few months after use.

To teach how to do things.

The package comes in a zippered plastic bag which can be used for left any over pieces. There are a few pockets too. Each piece has a Velcro fuzzy piece which connects to the panel. There is a panel of shapes, colors, numbers, and letters. There is also a clock, snaps, button, and practice to tie a show. An adult should cut out the pieces for the child. I was able to see my 3 year old niece play with it for almost an hour. Wow! She really loved it.

I bought this to my son 2y so he could work on some skills. But the pieces are falling very easily.
