You really don't get much bamboo for your money! There's certainly not enough in this pack to actually make anything, it must be targeted at people who want to repair or patch something. I make wreaths all year round and thought this would be a nice addition as part of the base. I was right, it is, but it still needs soaking or steaming before you use it otherwise it just snaps. I've had a bit of a look around, and I'm shocked to see this seems to be a competitive price. I guess basket weaving will be something I won't be taking up. Other than my shock at the price, the bamboo is fine and works well.

I am happy with this bundle of strip wicker. It is quite flexible but I will steam it before use to be sure I don’t snap it. Its main use would be for mending or repairing basket ware or something woven but it got it to create a free form structure within which I can build a flower arrangement. I will loop the pieces randomly and staple them down to a wooden base. Because it is a totally natural product it will suit the flowers well and create a modern contemporary framework for an attractive arrangement. There is some splintering etc, as you might expect from a natural product.
