Hiplok HLDX1OR Dx Wearable U-Lock, Orange

Took a long time to arrive. Ordered 3 for the family but 1 arrived missing keys. Daughter went out with friend. Her friend's bike got stolen. Her's was untouched. That's a good lock. Using it to protect very expensive electric bike. It is kind of small. Just room to lock frame to standard bike rack. But that is part of the design structure, that there's no room to insert leverage tool.

I bought this because it has a laser cut key (no teeth on the outside of the key) which won't cut my pants pockets like every other U-Lock key except the OnGuards--combined with the fact that it is 14 mm steel. The key is formidable----thick and not likely to break off in the lock.I use it to secure my rear wheel to the frame of the bike, replacing a chain which could be cut. No one is likely to cut a 14mm lock with a bolt cutters especially in tight quarters: the inside length from the crossbar to the inside of edge of the U is 5 and 7/8th inches with the lock closed. The Hiplok Dx D weighs 2 lbs 7.2 oz. on a U.S. Postal Service scale. I carry it in a bag on the back of the bike.I use a another brand U-lock of greater length and width to attach the bike to a post. (Also has laser cut keys.) A great looking combo to encourage thieves to manage their time better elsewhere.Very happy with this purchase.

The lock works very well. It's heavy and can be quite annoying to carry on your belt.

Can't speak on the security just yet (knock on wood), but it is super convenient to carry it on my hip. I don't notice it at all during long rides to work and long rides back home after a long day.

It looks like an excellent lock. I wouldn't know because I received it without the keys. I am returning the product and expecting a refund.

I brought two of these for my Lectric ebikes. Very portable, just remember that they are very small and you will need to make sure that you can get close to a bike rackor whatever you intend to use a a securing post. Other than that very lite weight, and easy to transport in a backpack or wearing it. Heavy duty keys and design.

Works like a champ and easy to carry and use. My son at college uses this daily for on is scooter. Without issue…so far. Fingers crossed

Bought this for my single speed bike. Very impressed with the weight and nice design features that make it easier to use and carry. The system by which you can clip it to your belt is surprisingly useful and also helps you to line up the lock around a pole. The rubber cap on the lock is also nice to keep out water and grime. Highly recommended for anyone who needs to balance weight, security and convenience.

Sehr schöne Verarbeitung. Lässt sich gut auf-und abschließen. Klasse, dass ein plastikfreier Schlüssel dabei ist.

Va de maravilla y de momento cumple perfectamente. Antes usaba una cadena que pesaba 2,5kg, y desde hace unos meses llevo usando este candado.Cabe decir que es un candado un pelín pequeño comparado con otros, sobre todo en cuanto a largo. En mi caso, al usar una bicicleta con cuadro de acero, me sirve para el 95% de aparcabicis. Aunque en alguno de algún Mercadona, que usan plancha de acero muy ancha, no he podido usarlo.Cuando tengo que dejar la bici varias horas, lo suelo combinar con otro candado más barato para asegurar también la rueda delantera.

If it lives up to it's own publicity then looks like I'll be keeping my latest bike for a while. I live in Oxford which is a notorious hot spot for bike thieves. Only time will tell
