I wanted to love this. It's the perfect size for me and I love Chromebooks. The screen is fine for watching Youtube, but text is incredibly difficult to read. Any website that uses a slightly gray as opposed to black text is very hard to see. And there are a LOT of websites that use grayish font on white background now. The only workaround is to put the display on high contrast, which is overkill and makes things even harder for my job. It's like wearing a hearing aid because the sound system is poor instead of using a better sound system.

So when I first received this I really liked it. While it was different than the normal computer set up screen that I’m used to with windows overall it was fairly simple with a learning curveThe biggest issue I have with this is it will not play DVDs with the DVD drive. It’s supposed to with downloading an app and using it that way but it still doesn’t do it. Being that the purpose I bought this was for my kids to use for school teaching DVDs and now I’ve passed the return date if I had known that before hand I would’ve bought a different laptop. Thankfully nowadays there are streaming videos but I would much rather be able to use the DVD format so we had no hiccups with the Internet since we live in the country.Great if you need a basic Internet access book for school work but do not expect it to do anything extra or think that you could even use an external DVD drive on it. I’ve seen people say that it works but I can tell you from personal experience it absolutely did not and when I called the company about their teaching DVDs they confirmed that they do not work with the chrome books

The Chromebook is very light and it has a nice size screen on it. One thing I do not like is the keys are white and the background light makes it hard to see the keys at night.

I love this chrome book very easy to use and light weight I can take it everywhere I go!!! Above expectations!!!!
