An overall review of the taste and size
I ordered this because I'm a fan of porridge products and am trying to be healthier in my daily choices. I've long-since been a fan of Quaker Oats, but I've never actually tried the pot versions save for maybe once a long time ago. To make it simple:Flavour and Taste - Vanilla and Honey. It's a very subtle flavour, as you might expect. The powder version before water is added smells much sweeter and aromatic, but dies down a little when you add the water and mix it together. That being said, you can still taste it and it's not overwhelming, which is a good thing. Most of the time, flavour is too exaggerated in some products, but this one does it well if you're looking for something light.Size of portion - For the selected size of 57g, you can't expect too much. It's enough for one person to wake up in the morning and is filling enough to keep you going for a while. Although, if you're a small person with not much appetite, it'll be perfectly suitable, but if you like a lot more product, go for a bigger size. Sometimes, the enjoyment ends too soon and makes me sad.Pricing - I'm not sure exactly how much these go for in shops, as I do not personally buy them because I go for big boxes without sachets in them, but £7.92 does sound very reasonable and fair given they come in packs of eight. In terms of quality, I do think it's very worth it if you're looking for something to keep you going for a while.Overall - I do like the taste and the light flavouring, but my only nitpick is the size. Yes, I could have ordered a bigger one, but there weren't any in stock and I was badly craving oats so I went for it and tried a new flavour. I personally enjoy a larger portion size, but other than that, it was very worth it to me and is exactly what you'd expect.
