we bought for my daughter now that she walks to bus stop we tried in the house and it's super loud and the light flashes pretty dang bright exactly what I wanted

This is a nice alarm and I like it it stays on my bag pretty well and does not get accidentally pulled of.

I work nights and walk to and from a hospital through a congested area with a lot of homelessness and drug addiction. This is a part of my generic safety system. The alarm is LOUD and would definitely attract attention in an uncertain situation. It attaches to the outside of my bag for easy access. I also appreciate the light, for obvious reasons and also for when I'd like to increase visibility of myself when walking at night

It works, it’s just not as loud as I’d expect. Will it scare a criminal well we shall see.

I purchased this for my mom - she loved it, and is able to use it easily (this is a big deal because she has a degenerative disorder and her hands don’t always work like she wants them to!) I am going to buy another for my daughter!

Upon testing, the alarm cannot consistently be activated because the components loosely tumble around in their plastic housing. Whatever connection is supposed to trigger the alarm doesn't work properly/reliably.If you can manage to activate it, the siren itself is ridiculously quiet. A human voice can produce a much louder chirp than the device does. The led light is no brighter than a phone flashlight and only faces the one direction.Upon testing it, my whole family was laughing at how pathetic this garbage is. If you use this during an assault, the attacker will probably just assume you are receiving a text message.Scam product.

It's cumbersome to use.

One time use, you can’t replace the battery. Does not say anything in the description about this do not purchase. No wonder they had a deal on them and I purchased. NOTE went to try after 2 months and you could hardly hear it sad.
