I purchased two items, one being this bit set and another being a 400.300.20 bit set (Which was used, and I refunded)However, I noticed on both items that something was off, the plastic wrapping was stiff and hard, like that of cheap knock-off toys. The Hikoki logo was poorly painted on the sides and most notably the box wasn't green, but rather a shade of teal.So, I actually went and bought a $25 Old-stock Hitachi set from a hardware store in my town. And wouldn't you know it, putting them side by side it was clear that:-The logo on the original was much better painted-The plastic wrapping was a nicer softer plastic-It was actually green, same green that it matches my tool boxes, as seen in the picture. Compared to the one from Amazon.Keep in mind, big brands like this bulk-buy plastic color pellets for their manufacturing. In no way would Hikoki order a batch of plastic for molding that isn't their brands' signature color, nor settle for anything less than perfect color!We're talking about a high-end tool brand here, a Japanese one at that. Not some Harbor Freight junk!The text on the back was also different fonts on the numbers, and the label was a more yellow-ish tint that you get on higher quality paper. So not the chalk sterile white that's otherwise common on cheap paper.I refunded it, not daring to put this bootleg crap in my impact driver.Do yourself a solid and go to an actual hardware store, might be more expensive but it saves you on time. Amazon is just a American owned Wish.com at this point. No quality control!
