GhostBed Queen Supima Cotton and Tencel Luxury Soft Sheet Set, White, 4 Piece

I went back and forth on what sheets to buy for weeks, wanted sheets with a bit more weight and quality but good natural materials and breathability. Ghost beds mix of tencel and premium supima cotton suited my needs well.The price was a concern at almost $230cnd on average, when price dropped to $120 range it was closer to other tencel sheets on amazon from well reviewed brands. No others offered premium supima cotton mixed in though.The fitted sheet has a nice wrap around elastic band that holds sheet tight enough and in place all night on my Casper mattress.The top sheet has nice stitching and has decent over hang on sides of bed.Sheets still feel soft to the touch after second wash and on hot nights there appeared to be decent wicking of moisture.Overall these sheets seem well made and good mix of breathability and weight. I appreciate premium materials and companies with decent warranty that appears to stand behind their product. I would struggle to recommend them at a price over $150 to most people though as you then seem to be paying for brand rather then products worth, that said these are worth a premium over the many cheaper sheets I have bought from amazon.

First off, I got these sheets as “used” from Amazon Warehouse. I got a hefty reduction in price that way! These are nice sheets, but there are several things wrong with them, that if I paid the full price of $230, I would probably return them. First, the sheets are very nice and silky, as advertised, but they are also very thin. I am a Tencel lover, so was super excited to try sheets with Tencel in them! Maybe it’s just me, but I always think of a high end sheet set as being of a substantial weight, no matter the material. Second, the pillowcases are too short for an average sized king pillow. The pillow sticks out farther than the case. The most annoying thing however is the width of the top sheet. Most manufacturers STILL don’t realize that when you have a split king bed, it is actually wider than a standard king by several inches, as a king is 76”, and two twin XL’s together is 78”. Then, if you have one of those stupid deep 13-15” deep mattresses that are so popular now, like I do, you suddenly have a top sheet that doesn’t even cover the edge of the mattress. I mean duh people, this is simple math, not rocket science! Ghost bed is a decent sheet, but those factors are a definite deal breaker for me. The great redeeming factor they do have is the super wide and secure elastic band that goes around the fitted sheet. This is the best by far I have seen, even better than my Wamsutta sheets, which have been the only sheet set I love for a long time (but are very expensive as well). If Ghostbed could get their sizing right, I would buy these sheets again...hint, hint! Maybe I would be more satisfied if they were a color, instead of pure white, as it probably makes them seem thinner. Oh yeah, and they also have four pillowcases with the set, which is another redeeming factor, because I don’t know a single soul that doesn’t have at least two pillows on each side of the bed.

The only issue I have is that the pockets aren't deep enough and it keeps riding up the side of my memory foam mattress. I actually prefer the CASPER sheets in this respect.

These sheets are the best sheets I’ve had in a long time. They feel sturdy, not thin and flimsy. They fit great and have a nice wide elastic around the fitted sheet so the sheet doesn’t come off, even if you’re a restless sleeper. They have a cool feeling when you first get into bed but it’s not uncomfortable it’s actually relaxing. They have Easy care instructions, that will help with the longevity of the sheets and they come with a warranty.I love these sheets and will definitely be buying more.

Best sheets ever !!! Only downfalls are color options and price.
