Logitech Crayon Digital Pencil for All iPads (2018 Releases and Later) with Apple Pencil Technology, Anti-roll Design, and Dynamic Smart tip - Intense Sorbet

I recently purchased this item for my digital art and I must say that I am extremely pleased with the quality of the logitech crayon. Its speed as well as precision are remarkable and in my opinion, parallel to the apple pencil. Its capability and affordable price makes it an obvious choice. I would also like to recommend this particular vendor for your purchases as they were quite helpful and understanding of my concerns. I would highly recommend making this purchase.

Although I have a Generation One Apple Pencil, I needed a backup stylus for my second (newest) ipad.I work as a Professional Caricature Artist at both private and corporate events in Southeast Florida between Miami and West Palm Beach. Due to budget, most gigs opt for standard 'Traditional' Caricatures (Marker on Paper). Traditional Caricatures average between $100 to $150 per hour in Southeast Florida.Last June (2021) at my request, another Caricaturist and friend taught me how to use the IOS program on my ipad called Procreate, allowing me to expand my art skills specifically at large Corporate venues where money is not an object. Digital Caricature Artist charge between $220 to $300 per hour. The 'WOW' factor where the ipad is connected via HDMI cable to a large monitor is amazing and attendees can view the Digital Art 'come to life.'Sometimes, the 'charge' of both the Apple Pencil and ipad drains quickly when doing lots of drawings at gigs. Unlike the Gen 2 Apple Pencil, which 'attaches' magnetically to the ipad the First generation Apple Pencil MUST be inserted into the ipad 'lightning port'for charging and it takes between 15 to 25 minutes (depending on how much residual charge is left)I recently purchased a second ipad (Gen 9) as a 'back up' and decided to investigate options.The Logitech Crayon works flawless. Once fully charged (30 to 50 minutes at most) you press an area and the green light appears. It automatically works on your ipad. No 'pairing' which is required on Apple Pencils.I did not see any significant change between the Logitech Crayon and my Apple Pencil Gen 1..except..the Apple Pencil is quieter. The Logitech Crayon has more of a mild 'metallic' sound when writing or drawing on the ipad screen. The point looks like plastic (not metal) and it is not a problem.As far as 'pressure sensitivity', since I use the Software Digital Art Software called Procreate, I can easily adjust the opacity and width of the pen or brush strokes on the Procreate interface!The Logitech Crayon arrived promptly (same day, if I recall) from Amazon in South Florida and I now use it more than the Apple Pencil.Highly recommended. A great investment at about $70 for a high quality devise.

Son got a new ipad from school. Needed a stylus. Bought this one. New ipad is USBc, stylus is ipad charging. Needed to buy a separate cable. Disappointed it's not included for the price we are paying.

Updated review:I am very happy to report.Both the Logitech Crayon Lightening & Logitech Crayon USB-C work on an IPad Air M2. I have both and have used each on the iPad.LOGITECH CRAYON Setup Guide explains the steps needed to use the Crayon on an IPad.Once I read this guide, I was able to get both the Lightening & the USB-C versions to work on my iPad Air (M2).Obsolete review:“Description says “ Logitech Crayon Digital Pencil for All iPads (2018 Releases and Later)”. The Logitech Crayon (lightening cable model) does not work with iPad Air (M2) which charges via usb-c.”

Works as advertised, no compatibility issues at all, nice battery life, nice ergonomics and most importantly is useful for multiple purposes

Works great with the IPad Air and battery life is never an issue. It charges quickly and is very touch-accurate. Compared in price to the Apple Pencil this is an easy recommendation.

I contacted LOGITECH DIRECTLY, AND AMAZON. I received my first one in a brown bowl that stated new on it , opened it and it was already WORN , DIRTY, yet I STILL gave it a chance rather then the hassle of returning, went to use it nope wouldn’t turn on , plug it in for an hour nope, leave it plugged in all night, still nothing, the battery was bad in it. So I send it back, they send replacement, this item was received this time in a TORN-UP package half way horrible taped with cheap tape and shoved In the box, this one atleast turns on/connects but still has moments it just doesn’t work, I wanted to really like this pen, did ALOT of research, but THEY ABSOLUTELY SHOULD NOT BE SELLING THESE AS *new*, AT VERY BEST, USED-okay to poor condition, YOUR CUSTOMERS SHOULD NOT BE AT FAULT FOR WHATEVER CAUSED ISSUE TO HAVE SO MANY TORN UP BOXES ECT, which sounds more like RETURNS IN WHICH CASE ARE USED! I won’t be ordering a replacement this time or even bothering with it , horrible company and horrible Amazon experience

Just got it today, did a bunch of tests drawing and marking up documents on an iPad 9th gen. Happy so far.Works very well, feels very comfortable in hand, and is nice to use. Having a lightning charge port is very convenient, as i have lots of those, much preferred to charge this way opposed to the apple pencil. Fit and finish looks great for the price. Will see how the tip holds up over time (apple has replacement tips for a reason).

Not much to say about the stylus tbh. Does what it’s supposed to and does it well. Only issue I find is the battery does not last long + you have to make sure you also buy a charger because it DOES NOT come with one.

Excelente calidad. Mucho más económico que el Apple Pencil. No me arrepiento
