Color By Math! Activity Coloring Book for Kids Paperback – February 15, 2017

my son loves it perfect for younger kids to have something outside of screen time to do.

I expected more interesting, challenging color-by-sum pages for my kindergartener (like the cover), and the inside pages are simple, bad clip art of a single exaggerated cartoony animal. The sections to color aren't even isolated (one big shape with three colors to swirl around wherever), and the largest sum is 5, so the most difficult problem is 2+3. I feel duped.Section two of this pile tries to offer a challenge of coloring the bizarre animal shape, then name the animal. There animal is clearly showing, and the hard part here is trying to figure out what this Picasso was going for. Skinny panda? Or raccoon with an enormous nose? Big-headed goat? Or cow with a bee sting on it's face? Then they waste a bunch of pages in the back giving the answers.A bunch of turds let this dumb book get produced with an entirely misleading cover. The good news is that they stopped delivering our weekly paper, and we are running low on newsprint to start the grill.

This book is for a kindergarten student.

Great for learning

This coloring book is a cute idea, however there are only 5 colors/equations. Of those 5, they only use 4 of the colors. None of the pictures have ANY sum that adds up to 2 (for the color red). For a “math” book, this is an epic fail. For a coloring book it’s passable and cute, but totally a waste of money for what it is advertised to do.

My son loved playing with this. The only downside, is that blue is one of the colors said to be used and nowhere in the entire book do any of the problems add up to use the color blue. My son was upset because that's his favorite color and he kept adding problems up and couldn't find one. I searched the whole book. Trivial yes, but my son is pretty specific with things like that so he only wanted to color it blue if the 'rules' said so. If those things don't bother you, it's great!

I agree with the first reviewer. The cover shows color coding for up to 8 numbers, however all images inside the book only have addition of number up to 5. The images are rather simple and since you only use five first colors, do not offer too much excitement. It gets boring after a couple of pages and one of the colors in top five is white. This would be a good buy for $1-$2 with 10-20 pages of coloring samples.

The only legend to follow for the correct color is on the front of the book. The colors do not match up to what you would expect i.e. a reindeer would be brown but 3+2= 5 so they have you color yellow. Also very much lacking color variety in the legend.

There is only addition questions with sums going up to 5. So it is not as complex as the cover.

Terrible book and very disapointing for no reason. The front cover looks potentially good with lots of sums with different answers in a complicated picuture, however every picture inside the book is much easier and every single sum in the book adds up to 3, 4 or 5. No other colours or numbers anywere. I'm not sure how they could have made such a bad job of a nice idea. Also a very misleading cover which is what the rest of the book should have been like. Waste of time so don't buy.
