Every Swiftie Needs this book
I knew I would love this book from the get go BUT I didn’t realize how MUCH I would love it. The Playlist is the most absolutely perfect book for any Swiftie. Morgan does the best job of rolling her love of Taylor and her hopeless romantism into one amazing book. When Zoe’s best friend Luna, finds their wishlist box from when they were kids, that’s all it takes for Zoe to realize her life is NOTHING like she thought it would be. She realizes nothing in her life has worked out the way 10 year old her thought it would…including marrying her best friends older brother, Zander. Zoe has a midlife…maybe third life crisis and just up and quits her job, breaks up with boyfriend, moves back home to Springhill…and spirals…until HE steps in and changes everything.Zander Davidson has been in love with his little sister’s best friend ever since he can remember, and now they’re both FINALLY single at the same time. EVERYONE in their lives have seen and felt the orbit of Zoe and Zander…..except them apparently. Well when she implodes her life on purpose, and her father all but orders him to finally put a ring on it…Zander comes up with the perfect plan. A road-trip! Complete with all the moments a lifelong Swiftie knows means true love. Throwing rocks at her window, dance in a parking lot, kiss in the pouring rain, watch the sunrise, go stargazing, find that invisible string, and so much more. Zander knows it’s his one chance to convince Zoe what he’s always known, that she’s his and their love story is one for the books.Complete with a million Taylor related Easter Eggs the woman herself would be proud of, The Playlist is the perfect comfy cozy spicy love story every swiftie should read.

I loved it !!!
In this charming and delightful read, the author masterfully blends humor, wit, and a dash of spice, creating an enchanting narrative that captivates from the first page. As a newcomer to the series, I found the book remarkably accessible; it skillfully recaps previous events without overwhelming new readers. The seamless storytelling promises an engaging journey for those exploring the series for the first time. This book has certainly piqued my interest in the author's other works, and I eagerly anticipate delving deeper into their literary universe.

good idea but it wasn’t good
I love the idea of it because I’m a Swifty you’re so excited to read this book, but it was such a long book for the story to be fast pace and their love to be slow. I just didn’t make sense. Because they loved each other for years, which makes sense but then all of a sudden they start dating and acting like they are in love and it’s just been like three days. Also, now he’s like let’s play pretend and she say why, I don’t understand, and what, so much it pisses me off like get a brain girl but to be fair he keeps something like breakaway from society. Anyways, I do not say this book. Kinda reminds me of ‘New Perspective’ by Noah Khan.

if your favorite number is 13, have I got a book for you…
This is so cute and fun. I’m not a Swiftie and I still loved this. I don’t usually like spice but the spice is not gratuitous. I didn’t get all the Taylor references but I think that would be really fun for Swifties. I do love a second chance romance and a “just get out of your own way and be happy vibe”, so this definitely hit for me. Great characters, trope-y but in a charming, well-written way. Delivered exactly as promised and winsomely so. Will definitely read more from Morgan Elizabeth.

a swiftie’s dream come true!
I’m obsessed with all of Morgan Elizabeth’s books! I was sad not finding the playlist in the beginning of her books that I had grown used to, but happily surprised to find that each chapter had its own accompanying Taylor Swift song. I enjoyed reading while listening to the official playlist on Spotify. It was such a good read and I even found my jaw on the floor for the “Girl at Home” chapter despite all the foreshadowing. 10/10 cannot recommend enough!⭐️

Perfect Swiftie romance
I loved every minute of this book. I was cackling by the second chapter and sobbing at all the sweet and sometimes sad moments. A 10/10 must read for any TSwift fan ❤️

it’s ok
It’s an okay read. I skipped a lot of parts that are really just the main character Zee mansplaining to Zoe how she feels and why she’s so uptight. My eyes rolled a good amount of times.

Obsessed is an understatement
How is this book both nostalgic and swoony at the same time?!?!?!The book, combined with the playlist take the elements of your first love and your adult love and meld them together into this big warm hug that wraps around you.I read this book in almost 1 sitting entirely (and yes, this mom of 3 who has all 3 kids home to watch during March Break is exhausted from staying up past my bedtime!) Reading, and singing and squealing over how damn perfect this book was. The absolute *perfect* way that these songs and these words all just flowed. The attention to detail in every single word of this book was so evident, the care and thought that has obviously gone into this book was so seen and appreciated.Let's chat Zee and Zoe. Best friends brother, unrequited childhood crushes (kinda), right person/wrong time. Everything Zee did, he did with purpose, with intention and with so much love. I just LOVED the line "I know you better than I know myself". He is quite literally the gold standard of book boyfriends. All other men should be measured by Zee. And yes, I have given my husband of 9 years (together for 12) an insane amount of shit for not knowing my complicated coffee order off the top of his head, like Zee does for Zoe.And Zoe, our people pleasing, overthinking, complicated Queen. Always so in her head, always so afraid. As a reader, with dual POVs it was so satisfying to see all the signs she was missing, all the obvious gestures Zee was making. These two were a real journey of a lifetime. It was both sunshiney, while also making them fight and work for their relationship- which is OH SO satisfying. But it was also so sexy, their chemistry was off the charts and seeing them really bring the healthiest, most mature versions of themselves out of one another.Honestly, I could gush about this book for DAYS (and I probably will!). BUT the TLDR review is:Taylor Fans will be absolutely unhinged over this book because of the easter eggs, swoon factor and how Morgan brought the songs all together to weave a whole ass story.Non-Taylor fans will love this for the heart-melting, spicy story of two people who have always been end game, but until now, has always been bad timing.
