Once I programmed this it works great.

What a pile of steaming garbage. I ordered two of them; both batteries were dead so I had to replace them. I went to have them programmed and one wouldn't work at all, and the other one worked for about three days before it started with various malfunctions.I waited a little too long to have these programmed, so now the return date has passed and I'm stuck with them. There is NO way to contact the seller.So, the cost of the fobs ($15 each), new batteries and the cost of the programming came out to about $160. Now I'm stuck with nothing.ABSOLUTELY STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.WORST AMAZON EXPERIENCE EVER.

This remote works perfectly! Lock, Unlock, Open Trunk, Remote Start & Horn Panic Alert.I did not manually program it, so I can't comment on that process. I used an OBD scanner that has a key fob program option. It was fairly simple. Took 3 minutes.It took a minute for me to figure out how to use the remote start, because the fob doesn't include instructions and instructions are hard to find on the web.Here are instructions for those who need help.-Press unlock once, driver door unlocks.-Press unlock twice, all doors unlock.-Press lock once, all doors lock.-Press lock twice, all doors lock and security engages. (Horn beeps for confirmation)-Press & hold trunk release, trunk opens.-Press lock, then within a few seconds, hold start button down, vehicle starts remotely.-Press & hold horn button, panic alert starts honking horn repeatedly.

I received 4 of these fobs from Chevrolet and they all stopped working within month. This one is still working.I did run into one hitch. When I told the locksmith I bought it over the internet, he refused to set it up. Oddly, he said that internet fobs are unreliable. Getting it to work with my car was a little problem. One day in a few months, I will take this fob back to the locksmith and make him eat those words.There is one design problem- Chevys problem. The buttons are not recessed enough and the horn starts going off from accidental activation. In other words, the FOB is great, but I'll never buy another Chevy.

It just works & is super cheap. My only regret is going so many months with my old broken one. If you need it just buy it, it’s worth it!

The buttons work sometimes. It will only unlock the drivers door. Remote start won’t work. It’s bulky and doesn’t work unless super close to the car. Hope you enjoy setting off your car alarm when it decides not to work.

Excelente producto, ya voy a cumplir un año sino es que mas tiempo con este articulo y nunca me ha dejado tirado o fallado ni la bateria le e tenido que cambiar los botones trabajan todavía muy bien y mira que yo soy del tipo de personas que se le olvida que ya activó la alarma del coche apenas al voltear del mismo. Muy buen articulo lo recomiendo y lo mejor de todo fue el precio. GraciasExcellent product, Its been a year if not more since i bought this product and it has never left me down or failed nor the battery and I am the kind of person who forgets that a second ago turn it on their alarm, they still work very well. Purchased this for my 2006 Pontiac g5, it will not pair with the car. To return the item they want me to pay 13$ shipping, that means I get a whopping 3$ back. I would not waste your money on these. Junk. Just wasting your hard earned money. Should be free return.

Very happy with these. Had to take them to a locksmith to get them programmed, as a Cobalt requires an OBD module / computer to program them. Worked great, nice to have the remote start back
