They are sturdy & adhere exceptionally well to our fiberglass tub/shower to give a strong safety grip if needed entering/exiting tub or while showering. There’s a red warning that becomes visible if the grip is loosening—great safety feature as we simply check each one before getting into the tub & reset if necessary. Rarely need to reset them but is very simple to do. We’ve tried some of the shorter blue/white sets but they’d fall off in a day or two. I don’t trust them. These stay on even when I’ve tried to pull them off to test their hold. Yet easily removes when needed. Would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone.

There's a red versus green indicator on each of the two suction cups. If you check them, you'll know whether the suction is sufficient or needs to be reset. It stays stable for long periods (weeks, at least). I found it very simple to attach.If you can't drill through tile to attach your hand-bar with screws, this is the one to get.

Someone was thinking when they designed these. They are nice looking and easy to install. Just make sure that the surface you are adhering them to is super smooth and super clean. I doubt if they would adhere to textured ceramic tile, but shiny ceramic tile would probably be ok, and glass. It's important to know that before using the tub or shower to check to verify that the suction is still good; red bar mean's it's not good, green bar means it's good. Also, the suction will fail if the wall you adhere a bar to expands or contracts. I live in an apartment building and one of my bathroom walls is shared with my next door neighbor. When she showers the wall warms and the suction fails. So, I have learned to adhere the bar to that shower wall each time I shower and take it off when I am done. Takes just a few seconds. And, these are intended for balance issues, not for a person to lift themselves out of a tub.

Attached to the shower and only used for support, never pulled myself up using the handle. After about 3 weeks I noticed the indicator showing red, meaning the handle had lost suction. Apparently the plastic can’t handle the constant stress of being under pressure.Update on product.Vendor refunded me for the product so I took a chance and purchased another one. The plastic didn’t break this time but what is happening is the spring which helps to provide suction force stretches out over time causing the handles to loose suction. This now becomes a safety issue because one of the cups will loos suction but will still to be attached. You will fall if you need the handle for support.Don’t trust this piece of crap.

Purchased these because my favorite grab bars were not available. They appeared to be made similar to the Oxo grab bars that I prefer. These are a nice length and seem to have just as good suction, very strong, Time will tell if they loosen. What I do not care for is that the soft grey grab area is on the out side or top side and the inside where your fingers touch is a hard plastic with finger grips that are slick, I like the other style grip where the gray soft area is inside where the fingers grab and the outside where the palm touches is the smooth plastic. It may just be my preference, the other grab bars have not loosened and they have been installed for more than a year, these appear to be holding as well, both types are easy to install and somewhat difficult to remove but do not leave any marks. I think it is a good grab bar if you are ok with the grip area.

Far exceeds my expectations. It is firm and provides balance stability. Of course I do not do chin-ups with it and nor is it intended for such. I am buying another one today.

With a clean wall and flat tile, I also used a special alcohol pad. This is now approaching 3 weeks and still up on the wall securely, I can't answer for the others but a clean wall and perfect alignment on the flat surface, pressed into place till the green indicator appears seems fabulous. This has exceeded my expectations. At the least I would use this in a guest bathroom if you had any doubts about your own safety.Will be ordering another especially if the next one was just a little longer. The soft handle is great in case you slip you have something more stable to hold onto with this.Wish is was about half inch longer because I can only get this to line up vertically on my shower wall. My only concern is that if it does release mounted vertically it would hit the shower floor as a pointed object. Solvable if it was a little longer, my tile is about 3.5x3.5 inches or so

I will be purchasing another now that we see how sturdy they are. Perfect to help with balence . Understanding they can not be weight bearing.
