This product is perfect for teens. my son loves it great for both his x and s series

Nice lit up but the air that comes out it is pretty poor.Not much at all.

This is a good little unit, fits snuggly under the X Box Series X and looks reasonably attractive.The main issue I had was that I didn't consider the increased room I would need, my Series X sits upright in quite a restricted space, so I had to shift stuff around quite a bit to accommodate; so take that into account.There is very little to do other than plonk the X Box in place and pop the USB in, so set up is very easy.I have used the unit to charge a controller, an Elite2 controller that is chargeable out of the box, and it worked very well, very quick.The fan can be a little noisy. I also have the kit that includes filter covers for all the openings and the "hat" with the fan on top of the X Box. I thought that was noisy when I first got it, but this drowns it out by the time you've gone up to the second fan setting!!!Whether it makes a difference to cooling is debatable. There are no monitors or metrics to look at, so who can really tell? The X Box still gets rather warm towards the top end; not knowing the internals and where heat producing components like the GPU, CPU, transformers, etc all are, it's hard to know what affect it's having.I do find it difficult to set the colour on the unit. There seems to be a system of holding the button in versus stabbing it quickly! I have to play with it to get it to stay on a static green, which is my preference.You might want to unplug the USB when not in use, as the charging lights still glow, showing the unit is drawing power. Fine if you want to charge controllers while the X Box is in a suspended state, but with the cost of utilities just now it's worth bearing in mind.One more thing to consider, unless you have the Elite or Elite2 controllers, you will need to get the chargeable battery packs separate with this product. There are other choices, albeit more expensive, that have them included; it pretty much pans out cost wise in the end.

I’ve dropped this two stars as if I wanted to give this as a gift I couldn’t as it came with my address label stuck to the box. I tried to remove it but it made it look worse.The item itself is nice , fits well and does the job it sets out to do keeping it cool and the lights are a nice effect

As I was a video game collector in my youth, maintaining my game consoles is still very important to me. I always used laptop coolers in the past to ensure my consoles were kept cool, but this little multi-use stand is better than a standard laptop cooler.I like that the xbox sits within the base and that the fan is whisper quiet (when set to low - on high it is louder). Additionally, it gives two spots for charging controllers, and 3 usb ports on the front. That effectively doubles your total USB ports (though considering it uses one port, you'd have 5 usable ports left). The lights are easy to turn on and off as well as cycle through the modes. You can have the lights change and pulse, or you can set them to shine a single color if desired which gives it a good appeal. I will be using this cooling base with an additional top fan to maximize my cooling potential. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase. If only we had things like this back in the day specifically for our game consoles.

Fits both consoles nicely. Simple to hook up with USB cable to hook up to the back of the console. At highest fan speed settings, you will not even notice it if gaming with headphones. I do love the controller charging docks. Obviously be sure you are using rechargeable batteries with the controller when docking it. I do wish there was some setting to set to auto-off when the console is off, but you do have to press and hold the power button to completely turn off the controller charging LEDs (understandable given its purpose). The lights and fans do turn off when the console is off.

This fan/charging station does what its supposed to; it charges your controllers and helps cool your Series X from below using its fan. All in all, this station works as advertised.That said, there's some area's where this item could improve. For starters, the fan doesn't turn off when you power down your Xbox. The fan will keep running until you flip the fans "off" switch. Although the fan is quiet, it's still noticeable when its running. Further, if you never turn off the fan then you're just wasting money on electricity. 2nd issue, there's two bright green LED's which never turn off. They're very bright so if this is in your room you may not like them when you're trying to sleep. 3rd, there's not a locking mechanism to connect and HOLD your Xbox in place. You simply place it into the square space which doesn't have a very deep well. What I mean is your Xbox is not going to be any more stable by using this base vs no base at all. If there was a way to lock this to the base then it would be much more stable!Pros:- Dual power (Charging remotes and Cooling your Series X)- its not bulky, its also very light- It doesn't have a lot of cables (just one short USB cable which plugs into the back of your Xbox Series X and is not visible).Cons:- The fan does not turn off even after you power down your Series X- Two Green LED's are always on and bright- Base doesn't really add any additional stability
