Velivi Wine and Beverage Refrigerator Under Counter

Bought the dual zone Velivi 24 Inch Beverage Refrigerator Cooler for residential use (under counter wet bar area); on sale for $749. Unit delivered on time with no damages (extremely well packaged). Installed and operating for one week with no issues (will update review with concerns or problems). Waited slightly more than 24hrs to plug in after delivery. Beautiful model - really like the wood trim on all shelves - nice aesthetics. Unit is operating flawlessly; have each side set on different temps specific to the beverage. Other reviews mention compressor noise - yes, there is a VERY slight fan motor noise when compressor kicks on and it can be heard only if there are NO other noises in room; compressor cycle is brief. (estimate ~43dB) Compressor noise is not distracting or noticeable while listening to TV or during conversation. Dual zone is a plus - was undecided on whether to get the single door Velivi model - decided the double door dual zone in long run would best fit my needs. Compared this unit to MANY other manufacturers in same price range with similar features (EdgeStar, NewAir, Antarctic Star, Kalamera...) - this unit provided same and better features with 5 star reviews (fewer number of reviews than other models, however consistently positive reviews).

Just unpacked it and put the handles on. It looks great. I’ll add more comments after I see how it runs.

The original delivery date was approximately 2 weeks out, but it actually arrived much sooner, within 2 days from Fedex ground service. After being unboxed assembly was minimal, just inserting the drawers and attaching the door handles. I let it sit unplugged for the recommended 24 hours following delivery. Then it was plugged in and it cooled down quickly. Both the compressor and the fan operate very quietly. Overall the 24” unit fit well into my undercounter location. The seller actually contacted me prior to delivery and offered set-up assistance and any other support I might require. Would buy it again from them.

I like the French doors and the sleek handles that were a close match to the rest of my kitchen. Dual compartment means we can regulate 2 different temps if need be. The shelves are made of wood and the face (front) of it is stylish against the glass doors. But the way the shelves are built, they seem just a smidge too tight for 3 regular soda-sized cans to lay flat so it's not easy to slide a can in and out without moving everything else around. Also because the shelves have a supporting wood piece underneath, the second row of cans get stuck and you can't easily slide them to the front to pick it up quickly. Just small details that the engineering team should have paid attention to, but overall a nice beverage fridge.

Lots of space for both wine and beer. Temperature controls seem spot on. The wood shelves on the wine side of the fridge elevates the look. Shipping was fast and customer service preemptively reached out to emphasize the importance of letting the fridge sit for 24 hours prior to powering it on (the same instruction was in the manual, but the message helped me take that instruction as more important). My only complaint is that this fridge is a bit louder than I was used to with a smaller fridge, but with that said it makes about as much noise as my refrigerator in my kitchen, so I may be being over sensative.

This has been one of the most frustrating purchases I have ever made. The refrigerator worked for only 7 months before it suddenly lost all power and would not turn on at all. Since the product was still under the advertised one-year warranty, I contacted the seller expecting them to stand behind their product. Instead of offering a replacement, repair service, or refund, their first solution was to mail me a circuit board and expect me to disassemble and repair the refrigerator myself. Asking a customer to perform their own warranty repair on a failed appliance is completely unreasonable. After explaining that I was unable and unwilling to perform technical repairs, I requested a full refund, replacement unit, or manufacturer-supported repair. Rather than honoring the warranty, the seller began offering partial compensation, starting at $25 and eventually working up to 50% of the purchase price. The situation became even worse when I followed up and received a message from Amazon stating: “The seller associated with your order or inquiry has left the Amazon store or is no longer able to receive any further email communications.” Now I am left with a completely non-functioning refrigerator, an unresolved warranty claim, and no apparent way to communicate with the seller. The product failed in less than a year, the warranty support was ineffective, and the seller ultimately became unreachable. Save yourself the frustration, wasted time, and money. I strongly recommend avoiding this product and purchasing from a company that actually stands behind its products and customers.

Fits perfectly under the Counter and looks great. Runs quietly and once it has reached the set temperatures it hardly runs at all. LED is a nice touch and really shows it off at night.

Ordered just yesterday and 24 hours later I have it installed! As instructed, I'm waiting another 24 hours before powering it up so as to let the refrigerant gas settle. The packaging was very sturdy, not too heavy (1 person with a dolly can move it around easily enough) and the fridge appears to be of good quality. Other than having to attach the handles, the fridge comes ready to plug and play. For those concerned about a tight height fit in your cabinet as I was, here's what I can share with you: The fridge comes with 2 adjustable feet in the front (turn to increase/decrease height), and a smooth metal plate in the rear (not adjustable). The height in the front with the feet on and fully retracted is as described at 34.25". The rear height is 34.125". Since my cabinet opening is 34.125", I removed the two front feet lowering the front by .375" to a height of 33.875" (without the front feet the fridge rests on a smooth and sturdy skid bar which is not likely to scratch your floor as you slide the unit, but just in case I stuck on a couple of 1/8" skid pads. After install, I jammed in a couple of wood wedgess to secure the fridge and lift it closer to level. My only issue is with the power cord. Had they provided a flat plug it would have allowed the fridge to go in at least 2 more inches. The standard plug protrudes nearly 3".
