Very limited capability - just a code reader.

This diagnostic OBD reader is pretty cool and has some great features. I like that it can track live data and then analyze that data. It then prints a pdf report of all the analyzed data in an easy to read format. The only downside is that it requires a monthly subscription for some of the features which I just can't justify spending $15 or more a month on.

Very easy to use. Gives all information you will ever need for diagnosis and it finds the part for you along with price. Immobilizer for under $60. !! Win

I have a wired OBD scanner and it's a pain to use because the screen is so hard to read. This is such a vast improvement because it links to an app on my iPhone (also does android) so it is very easy to read and use a familiar touch screen interface. it even linked me to the part I needed the time I used it. Also, since there's no wire, sometimes I'll leave it connected when my wife's driving so I can look at some of the real time info the car's computer is putting out as we drive.

The Mini version was not able to program ECM on my Mercedes, so I ordered thinkdiag(from the same company) and for just $30 I was able to finally disable start/stop. Probably not mini version is the same as thinkdiag. I'm not sure why Kingbolen has so many brands, apps and similar devices.

I connected to two vehicles. The instructions and how to access features are lacking. I did connect to my Fiat 500e (BEV) and it appeared to know what it was connected to. However 3 of 4 faults didn’t make any sense and don’t seem to follow typical format I found online. I connected to another FCA product with known stored codes, I was only able to view 1 of them in freeze frame. This may be operator issues but there is no detail instructions. The reader has an auto feature but wouldn’t work on either of my vehicles. I didn’t attempt to reset any codes as I was concerned about issues using this kind of device on the electric vehicle and the other is being serviced with an ongoing issue.

Acabo de probar el obd2 , después de haber tenido muchos otros que solo me han servido para ver poca información, pero este después de lo bien que hablaban es espectacular las cosas que puede hacer y toda la información y ajustes que puedes hacer mi primera prueba fue el reseteo del cambio de aceite primero entre en la opción de reinilizacion cambio de aceite para quitar el aviso naranja en el cuadro y luego en periodo del cambio de aceite para quitar la llave cita del cuadro es un dacia Sandero del 2018 . sencillamente genial para un aparatito pequeño , en el chequeo tenía 4 fallos que borre y no han vuelto a salir.

This is a really easy to use and informative product. I have been trying this out over the last few days and it has proved to be a great addition to the tool box.It connects easily and quickly to the app and provides a good level of info for the price.You can easily identify codes and do basic service functions with tool, when doing stuff out on the road this is really handy as it is so much smaller and lighter than my full diagnostics tool.Overall it provides a good level of detail, its easy to use and would be a great tool for any home DIY'er or business looking for quick and easy data. For the money it is well worth it.Don't expect more than it is sold as and you will love it.

Muy buena interface de diagnóstico. Amplia cobertura de marcas y algo muy importante es que funciona con vehículos viejos. En mi caso un fiat punto 188 del 2000 lo soporta de maravillas, todos los módulos. Recomiendo 100%.
