My young granddaughter loves helping in the garden, so should love this. Her favourite colour is yellow, so would have preferred to have it in yellow, but that option didn't appear until after the pink one had been dispatched - and I didn't think it looked as good for the same money as the pink, which had better contents. A couple of extra small, easy-to-grow vegetable seed packs wouldn't have come amiss, eg lettuce, cress, so I have ordered a separate pack of various seeds to go with it. UPDATE: Since writing this the gift has been very well received, and was used the very next day (a new bike took priority!).

Liked the spade and fork which are metal and sturdy. The watering can was a great hit. Two packets of seed included but none germinated. A little picture leaflet of how to plant and grow would be a nice addition.

Quality product that was worth the money... my daughter was ecstatic :)Only negative was the gloves are slightly to small for my 7 year old but the rest is just gorgeous.

I love this little set. There’s everything my grandaughter needs for a fun time in the garden. It is very well made and we’ve had great fun planting the seeds. The carry bag is great for keeping all the stuff in the same place and I love not having to share my watering can st last.

This was a birthday gift for a 3-year old girl and she loved it. It's a very comprehensive set of all that a child would need for gardening. Only very slight criticism is that the gloves were a bit big for a little one.
