I got this for a Christmas gift for my father. We had a lot of fun melting the patterns into the different ice cubes. The designs melt on quickly, but the longer they stay on the pattern the deeper the design and the longer it will keep said design while melting into your drink. A great gift for someone who enjoys iced drinks snd doesn’t want to try shaping ice in molds (beside a basic square).

It does the job, shapes your cubes and look nice. TBH I don’t use it much, turns out it was a product I didn’t need but it’s nice to have JUST INCASE you wanna feel like you’re at a nice bar and want some fancy cubes. I’d say go for it.

Works great! Easy to use, but probably only worth it if you’ve figured out the clear ice thing/directional freezing already. It isn’t going to magically make your cloudy ice from a mold clear.

got these as a christmas present for my son. immediately tried it out and was amazed at how well they worked with large cubes. there are other designs so may try some others in the future

This works great! The reviews comparing this aluminum version to brass are correct, but some context is needed. In full disclosure, I am a professional engineer who has some understanding of thermodynamics and has similar brass and this aluminum ice press product. Yes, brass does have better heat retention than aluminum. But the opposite is also true. Once brass cools down it also takes longer to heat back up. Aluminum is quicker to cool, but it also re-heats quicker. Essentially, it comes down to the re-heating and cooling cycle. More frequent but faster re-heating with aluminum or less frequent but slower re-heating with brass. Given the aluminum versions cost significantly less, I don't think you can go wrong, and highly recommend this product.I also have a trick that allows me to mass-produce cubes, even using this aluminum version. I use a microwaveable heating gel pack. Put the gel pack in the microwave for 1.5 to 2 minutes, put the ice pattern on the gel pack then press away!

Loved this product! Have been looking for an ice design tray for my clear ice for awhile and so glad I found this one. Worked great for me and so simple. I use my Tuxedo Ice tray to make crystal clear cocktail ice cubes and they turn out perfect paired with this ice design tray! Creates gorgeous designs on the cube in seconds! Really surprised with the great results. Have to check this out for yourself.
