The best toy ever.
My two daughters ( 4 and 8 years) keep playing with it everyday .

Comparable to name brands
We have several of the other name brand tiles and these are of equal quality and are easy to build with. The iridescence dimension of the tiles is a nice difference from the plain color of our other similar tiles.

Great Value
We've been wanting to pick some of these up for awhile but have held off as the prices are fairly high, even for "bulk" amounts. This finally seemed a decent deal based on the price vs number of pieces.Having never used this kind of toy before, I was pleasantly surprised, the magnets are strong and hold together well, and the colors are bright and vibrant. There are two "car" base plates included which I didn't realize when ordering, but is nice to have.As I said I have no experience with the "brand name" version of these, but there is an audible rattle from the magnets inside the plastic, I'm not sure if that's typical or just for this brand. I haven't noticed it causing any issues, the magnets are very strong and connect well to each other, it's just when you have one on it's own that you can shake and hear it.Packaging for this was above and beyond what I expected, maybe a small thing to some people, but the parts come well packed in a cardboard flip lid box, with separate compartments for the shapes and wheelbases, and includes an instruction manual and a blue carry bag, I assume because they don't expect you'll take the time to fit them all neatly back in the box (truth). The whole box was then slid into a piece of what I'll call "cover" cardboard, well designed with a full color picture of the product and back of the box blurb, honestly felt very high quality for an "off-brand" product so to speak.Overall I highly recommend this, as the price is right, the quality is right, and it's simply a fun, easy to use toy suitable for all ages (currently our 11mo child is loving just fiddling with them on our fridge door, can't wait till he realizes he can build with them).

It is a nice building toy for kids but pricey.
It's always nice to encourage youngsters to use their mind and hands to build and explore how things work. These magnetic tiles should do just that. I do feel however that the item is overpriced. I think they based their price on the weight of the package. The package does have some heft to it. But you are getting mostly little plastic shapes with magnets imbedded in each piece. That's why I say the price seems a little much. I will see how often my grandson plays with them to determine if the cost was worth it or not. Kind Regards, SP.

Concerns over lead means I won't let my nephew play with these.
Bottom line is that these are made in China and I'm not comfortable with plastic toys for children made in China because of lead concerns. The box carries both the CE and UKCA marks on it so that the toy can be sold in the European Union and the United Kingdom. I think some people feel warm and fuzzy if they see those markings. Unfortunately, neither require 3rd party certification. They basically just mean the manufacturer self-promises that they are doing things how they are supposed to. That doesn't really make me feel confident. Also, when I googled the UPC code nothing was found. That also seems like a red flag.If you're willing to risk it the toy is ok. I played with it some and washed up afterwards. I think a child could become a bit frustrated with the magnetic pieces. You can put pieces together end to end fine but if you make a 90 degree edge the magnets only allow the very edge to stick together so it's hard to keep together when building up walls. You can see how the pieces stick together in the 3rd picture.

Worth the money to get the this large set
This is such a wonderful set of magnetic blocks. With 100 pieces, your child can build a lot of things. There are smaller sets that don't cost as much, but if you can afford the price of this set (listed at $61.99 when I ordered it) you'll be very happy. The colors are great and different pieces make building a lot of fun. Since there are so many different pieces, in all sorts of different shapes and sizes, creativity is through the roof. So many fun and interesting things can be built. The magnets work really well. Initially, they seem to work too well, as it was a little difficult to separate the pieces, but then they didn't seem to work well at all once you tried connecting them side by side (as shown in the listing), but once you put a few together, they actually stick well together. It does take some practice and patience initially to get these to work well together, but once figured out, they building ideas are nearly endless. The pieces are large enough that you don't have to worry too much about little children using them.As I already mentioned, I would get this 100 piece set if you are willing to pay a little extra - it will be worth it!I would recommend this set for children who are almost two years old up to, well, whenever they want to stop building.
