I believe this is what finally got rid of the fleas
After 5 weeks of you-know-what and the next step being the nut hut, and hundreds of dollars spent on any kind of flea removal I could find, I came across this stuff and it finally worked! I have a rather odd insect phobia, so when fleas moved in the house and yard I was go crazy. I tried everything. I stayed up late hunting stray fleas. I read everything I could find about killing them. I found great pleasure in reading how this stuff slices the little devils to death (very painfully I hoped). But I had little hope that it would actually get rid of them for good. After weeks of fighting them, I wad resigned to the fact that the only solution was to burn down our newly-built home. I was fine with that a long as we got the kids out first. But this product saved us!It saved:My mindOur marriage (I had turned into a sort of beast)Our homeOur belongingsAnd possibly an arson arrest

Not a simple undertaking but it WORKS
We fought with the fleas for almost two months before I found EcoEXEMPT. They were especially bad this year, apparently, and our cat might have been bringing them into the house repeatedly even despite a thorough treatment with Proline. 2 bottles covered my 1800 SF condo and it took us 3 nights after work to do everything, as it takes a lot of time to move furniture out from the walls, lift up mattresses, and pull shoes out of the closet.PROS:- I felt completely safe using EcoEXEMPT in the house, sitting in the carpet where it was administered, getting it on my clothes. It's not harmless by any means - it's a VERY powerful desiccant that absorbs all moisture on contact - but it's not poisonous and doesn't smell horrific. It smells kind of nice, actually; clean and flowery.- The bottles it comes in double as effective applicators. Don't feel like you need to buy a separate device - I did and barely used it.- It absolutely worked. The adult fleas are gone, the next batch of flea eggs never hatched, the cycle is broken.- It didn't stain or leave any kind of mark anywhere we used it - carpet, hardwood, leather, fabric, tile.ADVICE:I didn't label this "CONS" on purpose - I didn't experience any downsides. But here's what I learned in using EcoEXEMPT:- It is DUSTY! This is the finest dust you have ever seen and it will get everywhere - which is what it's supposed to do. Take the clothes out of your closet, the books off your shelves, the computers and pens and things off your desk, pack them in sealed bags or containers, and don't put them back for several days unless you want all your things covered in white powder. We draped sheets and plastic but it wouldn't have mattered - I am still wiping a layer of dust off the shoulders of all my shirts and jackets 2 months later. The dust takes several days to truly settle and even then when you vacuum it will kick it up again a little. Go a room/floor at a time so you have a non-dusty place to store things and breathe easily - if I did it again I would have waited a few days between areas to let the previous one settle down before moving stuff around in there. Be prepared to dust more than usual for a few weeks.- Just because it's not poisonous doesn't mean you should breathe it. It will dry your mouth, throat and lungs out very quickly. Wear a painting mask and keep a (sealed) source of water handy.- Wear gloves! We squeezed it out of the bottle to spread it around and then worked it into the carpet with our hands, and if we hadn't been wearing rubber gloves our hands would have cracked and bled from being dry.- Same goes for your eyes - unless you like that sandpaper feeling when you blink, wear sealed goggles or at least keep eyedrops at hand.I spent dozens of hours researching before settling on EcoEXEMPT. If it hadn't worked, I was prepared to pay several hundred dollars for professional fumigation, but in researching I learned that most fumigators use an artificial chemical version of what EcoEXEMPT's plant-based formula is. I'm SO GLAD I chose EcoEXEMPT and spent less for a better solution to our flea problem that is healthier for my family.

AMAZING!
I got this after being bitten by a Brown Recluse in my home. We put out the special HOBO sticky traps but wanted more. It took a few days, but we have not seen a spider in over a month!!! It is super easy to apply and is easily vacuumed up if it goes where you don't want it to. There is a smell, but it is not a bad one and disappears after a few days. I reapply every 3 weeks. What is great is we don't have to worry about our curious dogs! One walked through it and then licked her paw and was completely fine. I did hours of research after being bitten and this is 100% the way to go!

gave the hounds a good bath, and the problem seems to have been ...
I'll echo most of the other reviews here. It does get everywhere, but it does do the job. We have three (mostly indoor) dogs, 7-9 years of age, and have never had a flea problem until this summer. We used this product in tandem with Precor 2000 spray, gave the hounds a good bath, and the problem seems to have been solved. You do NOT need a special dispenser, the thing it comes in works fine. The smell is not all that unpleasant, either. Just vacuum, vacuum, vacuum, and you should be good!

Works very well
I used this in my basement along the foundation, because we have a lot of wolf spiders in our area, and I didn't want to use anything toxic due to our cats. It has been nearly a year since I put this stuff down, and I can count on one hand how many live wolf spiders I have seen in the basement since. I have also used this around the garage, and can confirm the same. On top of that, it has a pleasant smell to it. Overall, this has been a terrific purchase.

Fantastic Flea Killer that Does the Job!
I was hesistant at first to try this but because I didn't know if it would work. We had a really bad flea problem in the house, we had even used foggers and it didn't work. Then I ordered this stuff and dusted the whole house! We have carpets in the bed rooms and living room. We used a spot treament of advantage II on the cat the same day we dusted the house. The smell is not unpleasant but not amazing. But let me tell ya this stuff did the trick! Within a week we were flea free. This stuff did not harm our cat. We basically sprinkled it down on the carpets and worked it in with a broom. Wear a mask cuz the dust is thick enough it set off our fire alarms. I even went in our basement and sprinkled it about. We have had NO bugs whats so ever in our house, not even the occasional spider. None of our capets are stained or discolored from this, we had a dark colored carpet in the bedroom. Just make sure when you vacumm that you unclogg your filters or have a spare one on hand because it will cake up the filter.UPDATE 5/5/15We have since bought a house in Dec 2014 and low and behold the new place was infested with fleas way beyond what we dealt with before. We bought this product AGAIN because we had such good luck with it the first time and AGAIN it worked wonders. It did take a little longer because A. the house was bigger to treat and B. the infestation was way worse than before. We are flea free once again thanks to this product. I won't use anything else AND we have been flea and all other bug free ever since using this.
