This tool is great, it is quite sturdy metal inside so you can give it a decent push through cavities. I use it either by taping a cable to the end and pushing it through together or by feeding the fish tape through first, then taping the cable to it and pulling it back through.25 feet is plenty for most jobs and would be a fitting addition to any engineers tool bag that deals with cabling.The only single gripe I have had is the design of the head. The squared shape at the bottom tends to snag a lot when pulling the tape back through a cavity - it was easily fixed by sanding all of the corners into a nice round shape, although would have preferred the tip to be slightly better thought out at this price. A diamond shape would probably be most suitable

Brilliant product. Used to feed power and hdmi cables up behind some plasterboard for clear wall with tv on. Very easy to use. nice and compact and flexes just enough in one direction to get through small hole, but won’t flex in other direction so stays nice and straight when feeding.

Easy to use for a DIYer. Does exactly what I needed it to. My jobs so far have been relatively easy, made easier by having this to hand.

Good quality product, but the head was too big to fit into the gap I needed it to.

Why did I not buy this years ago? Any time I needed to feed cables through walls etc I used an unwound coat hanger and struggled. With this in hand I was able to thread cables through ceilings, between walls and plaster board and through brickwork as I was redecorating the whole lounge and needed to hide cables for my tv and audio system. My wife was especially happy at the lack of walls being smashed to pieces to hide cables, that in itself is worth the price! The tape unwinds easily, is sturdy when you need it to be or flexible when you need that too. Makes jobs so much easier and feels like it will last forever. Very happy.

I wished I’d got this years ago. Been struggling running wiring/Ariel and network cable for weeks and it was taking hours to do. Now it’s quick, simple and so much more painless.

I've got a few fish tapes and this one is more flexible than the others. It can easily get around tight bends in conduit or walls. I don't think you could ram this through a tight space like the stiffer ones though. This is now my goto fish tape.

Ich habe diverse Kabeleinziehhilfen ausprobiert. Leider ist bei vielen das Band zu schwach bzw. zu biegsam. Speziell bei Distanzen größer 5 Meter ist man mit den Standardeinziehhilfen schnell an einer Grenze angelangt.Bei diesem hier ist das Stahlband sehr robust und nur in der Längsseite biegsam. Somit kann man auch vertikal gut das Band durch Hohlräume drücken.Ich habe das Band nun seit zwei Monaten oft im Einsatz und bin sehr zufrieden. Dank der Rolltechnik ist es auch wieder schnell eingezogen.Die Verarbeitung würde ich als robust und haltbar bezeichnen.

One-leg Jack was one of the finest men I ever had the pleasure of meeting. A fine sailor, a wonderful guy who would give you the shirt off his own back. When Jack was taken by the shark, I vowed revenge. The sea was calm, and the skies blue when the shark jumped onto the deck of our ship. He grabbed Jack in his large mouth, then flipped himself overboard taking my friend with him. He didn't even have time to scream, just a look of panic on his face before he was taken to a watery grave.I vowed revenge, and every day I would take to the seas looking for that giant fishy bsstrd that took my friend.I tried all manner of fishing lines and rods, but to no avail. That giant shark just snapped them all. I needed something stronger.I saw this fish tape on Amazon, and I thought I would give it a try.I tied up some dead squirrels and some other roadkill onto the orange handle, and then cast away into the ocean. It didn't take long before I felt a strong pull, and I started to pull in the tape. It was heavy, could vengeance shortly be mine?One final yank, and then to my horror, onto the deck of the ship flopped the armless, legless body of One-leg Jack! His eyes fixed upon me, he spat the fish tape onto the deck and then started swan-diving towards me like a demented Dancing with the Stars routine. "Jack?" I asked. He landed next to my leg and began to bite. He devoured my foot and ankle in seconds, I was finally able to kick him off, but I was losing a lot of blood, and Jack was advancing once more.Just then, the shark jumped back onto the boat. Jack gasped in horror as the monster once again grabbed him and took him beneath the waves. I swear that the giant beast winked at me as he dragged my friend down into the depths once more.Anyhow, the fish tape worked very effectively. The winding mechanism is a little hard to figure out, but easy once you get the hang of it. Sturdy enough to support the torso and head of a fully grown man. Highly recommended.

A tough little fish tape. It was new to the folks using it here in India - they were very impressed with the ease of use and the quality of the tape. Works great, nice and compact, tough plastic housing.
