In order to provide a proper review this item I thought it best to create a typical old fashioned from start to finish. First, I filled the ice cube ball mold and froze it overnight. Today I removed the container from the freezer and started the process. The first bit of feedback I have is that unlike some of the silicone ice cube molds, this one requires a little elbow grease to separate the top and bottom parts of the mold. Then you gently ease the ice cube ball out and into the rocks glass.The ice cube ball is BIG. Very BIG. So big that it really overwhelms the rocks glass. (See photo.) That's a bit of a concern for two primary reasons: 1) when you pour the components into the glass, you wind up pouring them directly over the ice which can cause the ball to crack, 2) you have to pretty much drink around the ice cube. Because of these reasons I don't know that I'll be using the ice cube molds very often.The rocks glass is very nice. It's reasonably heavy with a nice stylized indented bottom. It may be slightly larger than the typical old fashioned glass but, of course, it can be used for other drinks as well.The kit comes with two glasses and two ice cube molds and despite the fact that the ice cube balls are larger than what might be appropriate, the kit would make a nice gift for someone who might just be getting into bourbon or other whisky drinks.

These are really a nice quality set of whiskey glasses. The ice ball molds work well also. The glasses have a great feel to them and are not a light, cheap feeling glass. The box these came packaged in was beat up by the time I received my order because it was shipped in a soft plastic bubble bag. Other than the shipping method, I am happy with these glasses.

These were delivered on time and solidly packed in foam in a "gift box". The only demerit I would give it is that the box was shipped in one of those cheap Amazon bags which afford no protection. To be fair, the box did arrive in perfect shape and the contents were unaffected. As to the glasses, they are HEAVY, well made and large enough to hold a round ice ball and the whiskey with plenty of room to spare. The included two ice ball makers are super easy to use and make very serviceable ice balls. I like them so much that I have already ordered a second box because two glasses aren't enough. Five Stars.
