Great for loose knitters
Nice needles. There was a slight manufacturing flaw towards the end of the needle near the cable connection, a little spot of rough plastic, kind of like what you get when removing an item from a "frame" that was used while molding, this was quickly remedied with a lighter to melt it a little then smooth it down. The needles are rather grippy and squeeky with acrylic yarn, I think they would be perfect for a slippery yarn like silk. The needles also have some bend to them but it's not too bad. If you're a very tight knitter these probably won't be a good choice. One thing I absolutely love is the cord which is metal with no memory and rhey are extremely flexible. I think the cord would be great for magic loop work and wish my metal interchangeables had cords like this. All in all I would recommend these to anyone who isn't a tight knitter and likes some grip in their needles.

Love the needles; not the join
Wanted to love these needles. I love the teardrop tip and the flexibility of the cord but what I don’t love is the unevenness of the join. I started a project with these and had to switch needles because my yarn kept catching on the join, which is a huge no-no. Having to constantly slow down to check before the yarn caused me to have an uneven stitch gauge which affected my pattern. I’m gonna try and figure out a way to smooth the join because I really like these needles.

The join sucks. Has a catchy nub on it.
The join has a rough spot so it catches my yarn. Gives me angry feelings about 3 stitches in. I’ve only used them once and quickly switched to something else and haven’t picked them up since. Was hoping to use for a cruise because they are TSA approved but I think I will just plan a crochet project for the plane instead.

More please.
These were a lot of fun to knit with! I'm not a fan of plastic needles in general but these were pretty great. I really like the cords!!! They're nice and thin and flexible, but not super floppy. The tips are super cool. If you're a tight knitter you may have a bit of trouble with the drag but it's definitely workable. I enjoy these quite a bit. They are my second favorite needle.

BRILLIANT KNITTING NEEDLES!
These needles are BEYOND wonderful! I just wish that they were easier to come by, and made in different sizes and lengths.

They do knit like a charm but ... it is now the second time that one of the tips broke off.... within one year!

join is rough and the purple part of the needle separated from the shaft
Love the way the tip makes knitting smooth and the cord is great. The join is rough so stitches catch and after very little use the purple part of the needle separated from the shaft making stitches catch in 2 places. I'd buy a whole range of these if these 2 problems were corrected.

Fantastic for arthritic hands
I have arthritic hands that hurt and swell and I knit whenever I sit still. Not a good combination! I've tried square needles both single pointed and circular and they helped a lot but the hard needle seemed to always put pressure on an inflamed bit of finger. These needles were really my last hope and I'm pleased to say I haven't stopped knitting since buying them! The single pointed needles by the same company are great for baby clothes and small items but I've found these circular ones mean I can knit heavy jumpers again. I have used them in the round and knitting back and forth and although they take a little getting used to I wouldn't be without them now. They are a little bit flexible but being only a short length of needle before the cable not too flexible. The cable is good and strong it doesn't kink or snag. The shape of the needle keeps my tension good even when my hands tire. I think the bobble at the end helps me knit faster too, I used to buy expensive pointy needles but had no trouble adapting to the new points.I have used these needles with cheap acrylic, pure wool, alpaca and currently using them with a silk yarn, it is with the silk yarn that I see the biggest benefit, because it is both slippery and breaks easily my hands would normally get very tense and sore but other than normal stiffness in the morning I have had no swelling and no cramps.

Start to come lose over time
I'm using these to knit a brioche scarf (from the book "knitting fresh brioche", which I do highly recommend by the way!) so there's a lot of sliding of stitches back and forth. At first I really liked these needles, they're comfortable to hold and i like the shape, they're warm in the hands and at first seemed to glide nicely through the stitches. However, I'm finding over time that my stitches seem to snag a little on the needles where the two different coloured moulded pieces meet, and it's annoying enough that I'm going to have to change over to my standard bamboo or steel circs. It's a pity because these are a nice idea but don't seem up to the quite considerable strains that circular knitting can put on the needles.

They’re a little bendy?
Nice shape and feel to them, even though I’m really not a fan of plastic.I didn’t get on with how bendy they were? I don’t think the needles I ordered were that thin 4.5mm?They feel incredibly bent and unstable. If they re-release these with aluminium I would be very excited to try
