I bought these for my elderly female corgi mix who had lost her housebreaking skills due to dementia. I was having an awful time with constant urination in the house, literally she had no concept of being housebroken anymore and would urinate in the house even after having been outside for a long while. Due to the dementia she was also walking and laying in her own urine puddles, which was a REAL problem. But these diapers worked really well and once on stayed in place, I had no problems with leakage, and once she got used to them my dog had no issues walking or laying down. They were a real life saver for both my dog and I.I got a size large based on my measurements of my dog, but I really questioned it until they arrived and I put the first on on her. She definitely needed a large despite my initial doubts. The diapers were snug, but they need to be in order to work properly. What I am saying is to use the measurements given as a guide and measure your dog. Even though I thought my dog wasn't that large and really was hesitant to order the large, I did so because I measured her and that was the corresponding size to her measurements. It was spot on.I also had no problem with the "tabs" that hold the diaper on coming loose. They didn't seem that sticky to me when I started using them, but I never had one come loose so they must be fine!! Please remember that my dog was elderly and while she was quite active her activity consisted only of walking (which she did CONSTANTLY when she wasn't sleeping, as part of the dementia she paced constantly when awake....) So, if you are using these on a young dog that runs and plays a lot you might get different results.Sadly, my Kim has passed on but I will say these diapers made the end of her life a lot more tolerable for me, and I hope for her!!!!

I've got a mini Dachshund...we call her Penny...'cuz that's her name. Doxies are called "wiener dogs" for a reason. Did you ever play with Mr. Potato Head? (I promise, I'm not changing the subject, just illustrating a point.) Strangely, the original Mr. Potato Head had NO potato. You got a box chock full of appendages, facial parts, silly shoes, golf hats, and huge sunglasses. Your mom supplied the potato. (Yes, MOM. It was the fifties and your Mom was June Cleaver-ish...or if you were very unfortunate, Mommy Dearest.) Anyway, Mom gave you a potato so you would get lost in creative play and stay out of her hair while she did "Fifties Mom" stuff. That's the way kids were in the fifties. I'm serious. Haven't you ever seen an old episode of Leave It To Beaver or the Andy Griffith show. This was before Ms. PacMan or even Pong. Children would spend HOURS poking the real live potato with googly eyes, fat pink lips with buck teeth, moustached snouts or fat clown noses, Popeye type muscled arms and skinny legs showing off stiletto heels. If your little brother ate your potato Mom gave you another one...and one for your brother...you're getting it! SCORE!Now, let's get back on track. If your grandparents bought you a Winny the Weiner Dog in 1955, you would get a box filled with long ears, pointy ears, 3-4 tails, maybe a pair of baby blue pumps, tattooed arms with gloved hands, and an English saddle. (I'm making this up as I type. Give me a break.) Your Mom would supply the wiener (hot dog, tube steak, whatever they were called in 1955.) I was born in 1960 so I don't actually have hands on experience. My source was born in 1950. His memory is uncanny and I consider him to completely reliable. If you've got even a hint of doubt my source is available via a hijacked alien walkie talkie). And YES, your Mom. (See above.) So you would spend hours poking floppy ears and dinosaur feet into wieners as fast as your brother could eat them.Now here's where I tie up the lose ends for the two of you who aren't way ahead of me. Real live Dachshunds are exactly like Winny the Wiener Dog. Straight, cylindrical bodies with no discernible waist or butt to keep a doggie diaper on. Other doxie owners offered little encouragement. I don't give up so easily. I perused pet supply catalogs. I scanned every shelf at the pet super stores. I searched on the web using any possible search term. Finally, I spotted these on Amazon. They really didn't look different. But I hadn't tried them and I just had a feeling these might be worth a try. As soon as they arrived on my porch I carried my furbaby, Penny the Doxie, to my bed and tried them on for size. These are the best fitting doggie diaper I've ever tried. I am encouraged to the point that I'm done test driving. These are the best. The Velcro tabs allow me to undo and redo as many times as it takes to get a good fit on my wiggly pup. Once on, the firmly stretchy top is wider than others I've tried and seemed to hug her body more surely without rolling...a typical problem with previous diapers trials. The hole for her tail is perfectly placed.Now, despite my positive experience SO FAR, the first real test would rest on Penny's opinion. She's hated every diaper I've managed to get on her. Her first action after scrambling to her feet would be a vigorous fanny shake and successfully escape attempt. Not this time! She headed to the kitchen with a sassy swing to her tail as though headed down the fashion runway. As she sauntered away my heart sunk. Anybody with a dachshund will tell you, it's impossible to keep a doggie diaper on a dachshund. Despite the great features and fit, the diaper was sliding down, gangsta style.So I repurposed three adjustable elastic sheet tie downs and made her a pair of diaper suspenders. There is one attached to the front of her diaper and center front of her collar. Be careful the collar is not too snug to begin with. The back suspenders connect a few inches apart on her diaper and side by side on her collar back. She actually likes these. She shows off her diaper in the same way she does the bandana she gets for being a good pup when she visits the groomer.Hope this review is helpful.

I have a 60 pound boxer mix and tried both the large and extra large diapers. The extra large are the size for her. I can get the large on her but they don't go high enough up her back and just don't fit as well as the extra large. There isn't a big difference in the two. They both seem to have very similar waist sizes but the extra large is several inches longer and the tail hole seems to be slightly bigger. My dog is 13 and started having incontinence issues. She was dribbling throughout the day and completely releasing her bladder during the night while sleeping. The tabs can be fastened and refastened which is helpful in adjusting the fit and I can take the diaper off when she goes out and put it back on when she comes back inside if it's still clean. They are great at keeping my floor clean from dribbles. The are good at absorbing complete bladder loss at night and do contain and absorb large amounts of urine. I have wood floors and sometimes I can see slight dampness on the floor in the mornings. It's easiest enough to clean up and beats having a large puddle of urine on the floor. If you have carpet, and your dog has complete loss of bladder control, I would recommend either using an additional cover over the diaper or some type of waterproof pad under them while sleeping. I use a crib mattress with a waterproof cover for my dog's bed. I appreciate that these diapers are disposable. I tried washable diapers with liners but even with the liners, I would only be able to use the diaper once before washing. It's worth the extra cost to me to just be able to throw them in the trash each morning. I also tried using baby diapers. They did seem more absorbent but they weren't large enough to be able to get a good fit on my dog. Baby diapers may work well for smaller dogs but larger dogs are harder to fit. These diapers stay on well for us but I don't have a dog that tries to take them off either. These work well enough I probably won't look for anything better.

These work great for my lab . She has some health issues that prevent her from letting us know she needs to go outside. This product has saved us from lots of laundry. But most importantly, we don’t have to rush her outside .

Idéal pour les chiennes qui ont leurs problèmes de fille tout les 6 mois . Elle fait 26kl j'ai pris la taille XXL et ça lui vas très bien . La couche s'accroche bien avec les scratch et il y a le petit trou pour faire passer la queue . Pour exemple j'ai une chienne merles malamute berger australien donc c'est une grosse fifilles mais je pense que la taille XL aurait été très bien aussi . Je conseille de prendre 2 paquets parce que il y a 12 couches j'ai fait tenir le miens 2 semaines car pour éviter de devoir changer la couche principale à chaque fois je rajoutait une protection absorbante dans la couche comme ça sa évite de jeté la couche principale et de la réutiliser.
