Effective but ugly
I got this blind for my babies room as she is really light sensitive and I was desperate for her to start napping. She sleeps like a dream at night so assumed light was the issue. The fabric is really easy to install, just stick it onto the window frame and it let's in very little light. It darkened the room better than anything else I've tried. But it does look like a squatters den with it up and you can't take it down and put it back just up so it's stuck there permanently while you use it. I put the existing blind down over the top of it to hide it a bit.

Not really "blinds", more a black sheet and expensive.
I bought this for the room my baby sleeps in when we visit my parents. They get a lot of natural light in their house and have no issues with that but getting a baby to nap in a bright room is almost impossible. These arrived promptly, though they appeared to have been pre-used. I used the sticky double sided bit to stick to the edges of the window frame and use clothes pegs to hold up the blinds when not using. I think it's a bit of a stretch to call them "blinds", it's more a black sheet, and they are definitely not portable. For £12.99 I don't think they're worth it but I couldn't deal with the hassle of returning them. That said, they do the job, insofar as it keeps the room dark on bright, sunny days but they are fiddly.

Useless and damages walls!
Photo was taken at 7PM in the UK during July.Make your own conclusion as to whether it will work for you or not, but it's not blackout, and there are little microscopic holes that light gets through from where it was folded for shipping. The velcro stickers work also stick better to themselves than they do the fabric or our wall, resulting in the damage when trying to undo one in order to access the window.

Blacks out 97% of light
I’d wake up thinking it’s earlier than it is thanks to this. I’d open the bedroom door and be blinded by the summer 7am sun. Definitely recommend this. Easy to stick up.My only “warning” is the Velcro we got seems to be stronger than the adhesive sticking the blind to the window

Cheap and does the job
I put these under curtains for my son who won't sleep with any lights outside. Good for summer when the light doesn't down until late. They're not thick but does the trick with breaking the bank

Not actually a blackout curtain and has holes in it anyway
I thought blackout meant an absence of light. I was wrong. Apparently it means a slight reduction in light partially due to the thin material and partially due to the holes all over it from where it has been vacuum shrinked and stored for possibly years. The photos show the bedroom window during a cloudy day.It only works along with a blackout blind and two blackout curtains and then the room is actually dark. Not high quality and doesn't do the single job it is sold to do.
