It works realy well if used properly.
Works fine, have experimented with some out of date coffee grinds with no issues. There are however some points to remember:1. The barcode only adjusts the amount of water, it does not affect the strength of the coffee. That is down to the coffee you use, putting a mild coffee in a double espresso pod will not give you double espresso strength coffee.2. Use a fine ground coffee for better strength and flavour, the coffee in the original pods is a fine grind.2. Dont pack the grinds down too tight, If you shake an original pod you will hear the coffee rattle as the grinds are loose to allow the water to circulate. Packing down will prevent water flow and may stop anything coming out.3. Dont overfill the pod, it pushes the lid up or blocks the centre hole in the lid and you will get a red ring. A small pod takes one rounded scoop (15 ml ) the larger the pod the more it will take.4. Trim the used foil lid right back so the new metal lid fits. It should be flush and not raised (red ring otherwise).

Does not work with Vertuo Next
I just received this product today, and I had bought it because it said that it worked with Vertuo Next. However, no matter how many times I tried, it did not work. Even if I was able to fully lock the coffee machine, the light would turn red. And it would work immediately if I put another pod without the reusable lid on it. DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE VERTUO NEXT. I will be looking at getting a refund.

Ground Coffee Measurements
First attempt using an original Vertuo 230ml capsule filled and packed to just under rim, only got a couple of drips. Second attempt using 12.5 - 13g of ground coffee beans loosely packed, got a full 230ml of coffee - tasted great with a good crema on top.It appears to me that I can continue to use the original 230ml capsule for ever as they are well made and very sturdy! Ensure you get the AIEVE coffee capsule lid on the right way round!

The best so far
I have been recycling vertuo pods for a while now reused about 800 pods Mainly using the foil lids with perfect results. I tried the silicon lid, but strangely the fit is very loose, but still works well 8/10 times. Saw this metal version and at a price less than the silicone one, thought I'd try it. Wow, easily the best option I've tried, perfect brew, lovely crema just rinse and repeat 👍 make sure you place the lid with the cylinder part facing down, don't pack the coffee, you can hear the loose grounds moving if you shake a pod! the foils will have a place in my machine as you can batch refill as they are then sealed units, but this is just great for making a very quick, easy and much cheaper cuppa!

Awsam, absolutely awesome
The media could not be loaded. It doesn't sit tight inside the pods, it's not supposed to.Just fill vurtuo pod with your coffee & place this into the top so the edge is flush, don't pack the coffee it's not needed & will only stop the machine from being able to do what it's designed to do.I used very fine coffee (braught wrong one accidentally see), when I use the sticky foil tops I get bits of granules in my cup yet gladly with this I didn't get any granules in my cupThis thing is great people.I now have a pod machine but also a normal coffee machine for any coffee I want. The savings are great & mean get extra use out of my machine coz let's face it the original pods are expensive if you drink alot of coffee.I don't even av to buy replacement foil tops no more realy so this save me extra money hehe.I can't understand the bad reviews about this btw, can only assume they over pack the pods? 🤔Less coffee = week drinkMore coffee = strong drinkTrying to squeeze more coffee in the pod & packing it in = bad news

Useless product
Don't waste your money on this, tried many times to make this work, the machine rejects it every time.

This one works surprisingly well
My Tassimo was offended when I got the Nespresso and it stopped working. Now I use this to adapt Tassimo coffee into the Nespresso. One helpful tip I've learned is to cut the foil from the used capsule using the holes made by the Nespresso machine. This ensures a snug fit and eliminates any potential leakage issues. Since adopting this method, I've had no leaks.
