Weller Stt-1 Micro Point Tips (Pack of 3) for 2012 Iron

I guess my Weller MP126 is considered too old to bother supporting, so finding new tips for it seemed impossible. Then I spotted these and bought 3 on the off-chance and - they fit!!Would it have been so hard for Weller to add MP126 to the list of irons these tips are suitable for?

Didn't fit my soldering iron so can't comment.

These bits are getting harder to find. In the end I'll have to replace my soldering iron, but while it still works fine then still being able to replace the bits as they wear is great.

A genuine Weller spare part, perfect for my trusty 2012 iron, the conical point (0.25mm) is suitable for delicate work on my audio equipment, radios and other fine electronic work.Came in Weller retail packaging.I use leaded solder, and happily, these tips seem to last longer than if using lead-free.Saved for later in my basket ready for when I need some more.

I cannot guarantee these tips will do all fine soldering but they are finer than the tip on the standard iron and have certainly performed some fine soldering tasks on a computer board I have.

Completely the wrong size! good for electronic use, I guess

I bought them to replace a worn tip for my old Weller Micro Point 12W WM12D. They fit without any problems and look forward to many years of further use.

Partner gave me the wrong product to buy to go with the soldering iron I bought so thats why its a 3 star. Its not actually been used.
