Smith & Clark 3-Quart Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven Pot with Lid, Ivory White

My husband loves to cook and eat pinto and almost any other kind of dried beans, and he needed a new Dutch oven to use as a "bean pot". This 3-quart enameled cast iron pot is the perfect size. (I actually had a hard time finding a 3-quart enameled cast iron pot, and we didn't need or want a 5- or 6-quart one.) We got this one to replace our old Le Creuset Dutch oven because, over the years, the finish had been badly damaged. This one is almost as nice as the Le Creuset at just a fraction of the cost. It heats evenly, can go from stove top to oven, and is a nice weight.

Great little 3-quart Dutch oven that I picked up for making smaller loaves of bread. The cover fits well and the handles are easy to grasp. I got the red one - was surprised when it changed color to a darker purple when heated to 450. It changed back to red when it cooled.

It was a gift for my daughter and she loved it. It is the perfect size for her small family and it looks so good! I may halve to get me one so I can give a more accurate review.

Bought this to make sourdough bread in. Great price and quality seems good. Not too heavy. I plan to be careful with it so it doesn’t chip.

I love the design, especially the cast iron handle and how it doesn’t show the branding. I didn’t want to buy a fancier one because the handles are always stainless steel and the branding is so huge and gaudy. My only issue with this is that it chips easier than the higher end brands.
