Mathematical Notation: A Guide for Engineers and Scientists Paperback – 25 Sept. 2011

I am reading a large number of books with mathematics in them. It is many years since I studied maths and I had either forgotten the symbols or there are new ones, all of which were difficult to track down. Google helped, but this book is excellent. Easily indexed and simple explanations of the various usages in a compact format.I wish I'd bought it when it was published.

The product is exactly how it was described in the Amazon. And the delivery date was as promised. I'm a happy customer.

I expected notations from far much more branches of mathematics. This books covers only the 1st year of college so it's a little too less.

Poor manufacturing made the rulers inaacurate.

The best book I ever owned about mathematics and also mathematical notation. Fully serves its purpose. I am so happy. I already have this book for years but now I am so glad to have it as I have been using it very frequently in past couple of days. Ideal guide if someone needs to get through couple of topics and understand notation.

I 'm always annoyed when I encounter a math symbol which I don't understand what it means. The problem is that I don't know what are the names of the symbols, so this book help me a lot with searching.
