Not well assembly
The nut on the top part was not tight enough and the shock had to be reinstalled. Had to take the top seal away to tighten everything to spec. This seal is a proof for the warranty. Hope this will not give me any problem if I need the warranty. The problem is not with Amazon but with the maker of the shock.Other than that the price was very good.

Clunking noise due to lose upper strut nut.
Some few months after installing two of these Monroe front struts, driving became a nightmare. Front-end clunk particularly when braking made me almost sell the car. Took the car to one mechanic to another including alignment shops to solve the issue. As a result, I replaced ball joints, outer tie rods, sway bar links and even brake pads because mechanic said they are wrong fit for the car making noise. All these parts bought OEM from Toyota dealership. Just add-up the cost. Nothing solved the problem. The last part I was going to buy was motor mount which is about $165. Just before doing so, I came across a Google post indicating that sometimes struts come improperly torqued and cause clunking. That was correct in my case. The nut (normally covered by a dust boot) was so loose that it rotates with just fingers. This is also the same nut that holds the entire spring pressure in place. Clunking disappeared after tightening the nut and of course checking the other side too.

Holy Jesus
Bought these bad boys to pass state inspection. Didn't realize it would turn a RAV4 into such a beast. I can corner on a dime now & race with the rest of 'em. Rides like a RR too!

Exact fit.
I've had good luck with Monroe products. The best part is I saved a little over $100 compared to local auto parts store. If you're new to changing struts be sure to pay attention to part #s. There is a left and a right. They don't interchange. Good idea to replace stabilizer bars while you're at it.
