Exellent quality mechanical pencil
I first bought Rohtring technical drawing implements as a student 50 years ago. Then, they were made in Germany now as everything they are made in China. I used them for mapping. Nowadays computers do all the drawing and design work of Architects, engineers etc but these pens and pencils have a great use for artists and students. The mechanical pencil is good for fine line sketching before painting or working up with softer pencils when you're happy with your outlines. It doesn't leave nasty marks under translucent paint since they are easily rubbed away with a good rubber and give ample opportunity to place guide lines and grids to help compose the scene. The pencil is durable well constructed of a good weight with a comfy rubber finger grip. It came in a blister pack..all recyclable with a neat little pack containing 12 leads. It's a smart quality pencil, far better to buy one of these than a pack of the the PM pencils which do the job but are somewhat disposable..the rubbers on them are not worth having and will spoil your work. I bought 0.5, very fine. My only complaint is that is that the polymer graphite is a little hard more like 2H than HB. But for the money and free delivery this is a nice pencil worth getting. Pair it up with a good rubber..staedler or a putty rubber and a good steel ruler and you ready to draw. Arrived promptly too. Pleased.

The best mechanical pencil.
This has been around for donkeys’ years. Used by artists and draughtsmen (or is that draftspeople now?) alike. Or just used to write notes with, like me. The best everyday pencil around. Still.

Good quality pencil, comfortable to use, & perfect for fine drawing.....
This is my 2nd Tikky pencil, as my last one was lost. I love using it for fine drawing/doodling, as the leads are perfect. It is comfortable to handle, is easy to refill with the leads, & provides a high quality finish. This is my 'go-to' drawing pencil.....Would highly recommend & buy again!

Worth the postage!
I ordered the 0.7mm version as well as this one and both were delivered to my door within 24 hours. I prefer mechanical pencils (with built-in erasers) to pens when I'm working or simply doing a crossword and I have tried out most makes. My first Rotring was bought in Denmark and it worked perfectly until I had to buy spare leads. Local stores carried every make but Rotring's - let me tell you that not all leads are the same! Rotring leads are soft enough to write smoothly but sufficiently strong not to snap easily. The others don't compare and so I wanted the Tikky pencils not only for their quality but also because they came supplied with HB leads. Okay, paying 30% of the small product costs simply for the postage is high but I remain totally satisfied with my purchase.

The end does not retract
I’ve had other from the same brand where the end retracts as you use the lead so you don’t have to click so many times. The lead it comes with is tough to write with

nice!
My cirrent favourite, though the picture is misleading, it's a mechanical pencil, not an ink pen or whatever, lol. It is really comfortable in my hand and weights little. IT's for medium sized hands.
