Ancable Comfort Gel Undercut Ear Seals for David Clark Avcomm Pilot-USA ASA Flightcom Aviation Headsets with Deluxe Cloth Ear Seal Covers

After many years of use, my four primary headsets needed a refresh. I replaced the cables and had such a good experience with the Ancable Seller, I chose to get the gel ear seals from them vs the other sellers. I am SO glad I did!My headsets are a mixed group, and only one is Dave Clark. These fit all of them. If your headsets have hard plastic ear cups with an edge lip over which the seal attaches, these should fit. I can attest they fit Pilot and Avcom, and of course Dave Clark (mil style).Installation. Some said you need a special tool. I did not. The seals have a thin but solidly built vinyl seal that goes over the curled lip on the ear cup. I started by gently stretching that seal, then slid it over the top of the cup edge. Holding that in place with my thumb, I slowly stretched the remaining seal down and over the bottom lip. Once I had the seal over the both top and bottom, I massaged the seal all the way around until the vinyl was snuggly gripping the cup. It took about 15 min for the first set, and about 5 for the others. There cloth covers just slide over the seals. And ALL stays in place regardless of how physical you get slapping the headsets on/off.The result... Outstanding! My wife remarked that the new seals are way more comfy, even with earrings. We both noted much better noise cancelling as these 'seal' much better, especially on colder days (though being in N. FL, that's not normally an issue).Overall, these are EXCELLENT upgrades to standard foam seals. Easy to install. More comfort. Better noise cancellation.And the seller is one of the best, if not THE best, I've found on Amazon.

Perfect size to replace an old set that had developed a leak. A little difficult to install, but fit after installation was snug on the headset. Comfortable to wear. They are noise suppressing, not noise cancelling. They do the job for which they were intended.

I bought these for my ASA headset. They are infinitely more comfortable than the stock pads. These are a must have for comfort. Probably due to the generic fit across many brands, it was quite difficult to install on my headset, but you only need to do that once, so it's not a big deal. These are a fantastic way to take a cheap headset and make it feel much more premium. I could wear these all day.

I liked that these fit my old David Clarke headset perfectly. More comfortable than the original pads.

Bought these to replace the crappy factory foam ear seals that came on the Rugged Air headsets we purchased. It took two people to get them installed, but they are so much more comfortable than the factory ear pads. We could ride the SXS all day and these gel pads sealed well, and were extremely more comfortable than the hard rubber and foam of the originals.I couldn't find a review that specifically named the Rugged Air headsets, so I took a chance and I'm sure glad that I did. Highly recommend.
