Love this makeup
I really like Laura Gellar makeup for my mature skin. The foundation is buildable and covers scars and flaws easily. I use her face primer first, then use sponges and the foundation brush to apply the foundation. I also brush on her foundation powder and the makeup lasts all day. The makeup and blush compliments my skin color. I get many compliments on my makeup and how natural it looks. The makeup, primer, powder and makeup brushes are quite the investment but these last a long time and well worth the money.

Good product, wrong color
The product itself is good. I found that the colors weren't right for me. The foundation had too much of an orange tint and the powder blush was too pink. The brush I love!

Way too orange!
The light shade has so much orange undertone to it that it's definitely not "light". I am usually 100% on board with all things LG, but this make up it awful...unless you're orange skinned. When will you make a FAIR shade with neutral undertones? Tossed the make up in the garbage, but kept for the blush and brush, both lovely products.

Loving it
I really like this makeup. The color I bought was light and it worked great. The yellow tone is what I were better even with light skin. Some colors in other brands are too pink. The blush was rosie and looked great. The texture of the base was awesome and I deal with dry skin, but I love the matte finish.

Light weight buildable
Love this set. First time trying her stuff and I love it!! I’ve also been using the blush as eye shadow. I heard of her stuff through the makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes, so I figured I’d try! The brush for foundation is wonderful and it looks so natural. I got Lucky and the color light matches my skin perfectly.

Pleasantly Surprised-- One of the Best Foundations I've Ever Tried
I originally picked this set up because the blush looked nice and I Laura Geller is a brand I've always been aware of but never tried. I didn't actually have high hopes that the foundation would match my extremely pale neutral/yellow undertone skin or that I would enjoy it as much as I have.I am a foundation freak, I've tried dozens of high end foundations, some of my favorites being Dior Forever Matte 0N and Gucci Luminous Matte 120 N. I also often like to use concealer in place of foundation. This is the best of both to me, a well pigmented foundation that does not budge or crease. A little goes a long way.The nice frosted glass bottle houses a large doe foot applicator which I love compared to the usual pump type bottles. I use a very small amount, three dots on either side of the face with a couple on the forehead, one on the nose and chin. I think it blends much nicer if you use the least amount possible and build up or use concealer if need be. I like to use this on top of a thin layer of powder, then setting spray, then primer--I have had great luck using it with the Caliray So Blown primer. From the ingredient list it doesn't look like a heavily silicone based foundation which is what I'm more used to for my quite oily skin. You might have to play around with water vs. silicone primers to find the one that works best for you.On first swatch I thought it might be too pink for my skin tone but once blended it looks perfect. The shade range isn't the greatest here, that's maybe the one complaint I'd have but I got lucky. The finish is incredibly natural, not the most "blurring" but it looks undetectable and like skin. I finish with a good layer of translucent powder and another spritz of setting spray and it lasts all day without breaking down at all. No creasing, no patchiness which is a rarity for my oily skin. I wouldn't say it has strong oil control properties, I still blot a couple times a day, but it holds up and looks great even at the end of the day.The blush is very nice too, the "baked" makeup feels like such a throwback but I like it. It's quite pigmented, a little goes a long way. It's a nice cute pink with a dimensional finish. The brush it nice and soft, for my taste a little too soft for foundation but it's a handy travel brush that telescopes closed.Overall this set is a fantastic value, the foundation alone would be worth the price to me it easily out performs many 50-70 dollar ones I have tried. If you can find a good color match I think you'll enjoy it.Ingredients for the foundation from her website, I didn't see them in the listing:Water (Aqua), Isododecane, Trisiloxane, Hydrogenated Didecene, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Glycerin, Hexyl Laurate, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Cetyl Peg/Ppg-10/1 Dimethicone, Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate, C9-12 Alkane, Butylene Glycol, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Sodium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Silica, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Aluminum Hydroxide, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Tropaeolum Majus Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-T-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate.
