TP link never fail
Decided to upgrade my router with new 1Gb internet circuit. TP link never fails. Easy to see up and configure and using the new Wifi 6e worlds a dream. Solid connection and minor configuration and tweaks makes this a solid buy.

Works out of the box with Virgin broadband, expect a 20% reduction in peak download speeds
Easy to install, if you have used the tplink software before. The virgin hub has to be put in modem mode first. The TP link router came with a cat5e cable, was rather surprised as this router claims high speeds. I have a 1.1gig connection, and consistently get more than a gig download speed on hub 5. I ordered a cat7 cable to connect the hub5 to TP link. Use the 2.5G port 4 on the virgin hub. I have enabled OFDMA and MUMIMO, these were not on by default in TP link. The 160hz band was on only on the 5G-1 band, not the second 5G band, not sure why, had to be switched on. The OFDMA and MUMIMO feature is only available on the first 5G band, not sure why. I have enabled QoS. I have not changed any set up of my devices, the router placed in the centre of my house; on my desktop which is plugged into the router, I get max 850mbps now, instead of the previous 980, the desktop is capped at gigabit ethernet. On my new mobiles running latest chipsets Snapdragon 8+gen1, I cannot get more than 750, previously on hub5 I got 1.1gbps. The connection speed with the router on my mobile is 2401 Mbps even on the fast 5G1 channel which is supposed to connect at 4804 Mbps. Tried playing with various settings by logging into the router. I was satisfied with hub 5, thought that this may reduce the latency when traffic is high, and improve the reach, not noticed any difference yet apart from reduction in speeds, having said that even 750-800mpbs is good enough and no noticeable difference when streaming. The upload speeds remain the same at 50.

Great Device, short power cable.
First unit was returned as for some reason it didn't work with the DC Extension cable TP-Link told me was compatible (I've placed my unit on a bookcase and the included power adapter was far too short).Support was great at swapping/returning.
