I did manage to get these to fit our radiators (a mixture of types requiring thin value, medium and square). However, these are very small and they dont fit snugly. If you have a valve which is even slightly stiff then these will be very difficult to use as they will just come off in your hand. They do work to a just-about-ok basis on most of our radiators but would not but I would not buy again. Better than nothing but not good enough to be happy.

The instructions advise to select the appropriate disc, and the insert it onto the lugs in the cover.The disc fits on the lugs , but there is nothing I have been able to do to make it fit tightly. The consequenceis that when you place it on the radiator valve, the disc falls out. Either I am doing something wrong OR theproduct is not fit for purpose.I have tried pushing the disc hard into the cover, but the lug length is minimal, and the disc sits proud with the top of the lug.

Very disappointing. None of the supplied discs was a perfect fit for any of eight valves (two different spindle designs) and forcing them onto the spindles was tedious. I'm far from thick, but the instructions were not terribly clear, especially regarding the locking rings. Apparently they are only required for disc 4, but I found it necessary to fit them regardless of disc choice.Of course, the point of buying these is to turn lockshield valves into wheelhead valves, but they just don't sit securely on the spindles, proving quite wobbly/loose, and struggling to turn the valves without applying downward pressure to hold the cap to the valve.All in all a waste of money.I do have a better solution for quick and easy lockshield adjustment - a universal socket head fitted to a hex drive screwdriver - see attached photo. This adapts to any spindle shape and is far more convenient than grips/pliers etc for operating the valve.

First select the plate which best fits your valve-top with least slack. (For me it was the rectangular flat plate. Even though my valve-tops are square this is the best and correct plate to use). Next use a small screwdriver to remove the already-fitted retaining clip, BUT LEAVE IN PLACE the circular snap-clip below it. Drop your plate on top of the snap-clip and note there are two slim lugs to engage into the plate cut-outs. Re-fit the retaining clip, dome-towards-the-plate and straddling the lugs. Use a suitable drift to press firmly into the cap. (I used the handle-end of a small screwdriver pressing down on a worktop). Add the sleeve if needed. Fit onto the valve, twiddle it to engage the plate over the spindle and press down firmly to engage the snap-clip. JOB DONE!!!! ........Now for the other Nine.

Items arrived on time, they are good value for money.I would recommend these as a cover only not an on/off cover.
