We have a Portofino hammock that I bought more than 15 years (or more) ago. The hammock bed lasted 10 years, which is pretty impressive, but when I went to replace it, I found it hard to justify the price ($400) for the Portofino (plus they only have 2 color options), so I have since purchased 3 less durable hammocks that each last about 1-1/2 to 2 years (either the fabric rots, or the rope rots). In fairness to the makers of the hammocks, I keep mine out year-round, uncovered, in Arizona, so it gets A LOT of sun. I expect this hammock bed to last about the same amount of time....2 years, but for the price, beauty and comfort....it is worth it.This isn't made with Sunbrella or weather/water-resistant fabric, so when it rains, it fills up with water and takes awhile to dry out. However, the ropes and wooden rope spreaders are very sturdy, and I suspect they will last longer than the fabric.

My son in-law love this. It is one of his favorite things to nap on. It is sturdy and comfortable.

It's very well made and beautiful colors but it is slippery when wearing certain materials.

My only complaint is, it did not come with tree straps. They are mentioned in description but we're not in package

Just received a few days ago but was the wrong color. I spoke with their customer service and they helped my find a solution. Their customer service is excellent!! And even though it is not the correct color the quality seems very good.
