Good Product
I was making a rain barrel, and I needed a way to see how much water was in the barrel, so I used this and attached a clear tube vertically along the outside of the tank. It worked great!!

Perfect replacement for the original one that came on my 90' Striper
This was the exact replacement for the one that came original on my 90' Striper. The elbow is even stamped "MAYFAIR" like the original. Looks and feels like great quality. The barbs side OD is 3/4 inch. The screw down cap side (opposite the barb side) measures 1 3/4inch at the widest part of the cap

Be aware that the outer fitting has a flange that requires you to drill a larger hole than what the main shaft is. This is dissimilar to what they typically are.

Easy install. Great product.
Installed a bilge pump on a small boat. The 90 degree angle allowed me to keep the hose tucked out of the way, very close to the hull. Perfect. Easy install with a set of step bits.

Overpriced and hard to seal
With many of the Marine stores closing as victims of their greed its cheaper to buy an also overpriced fitting at Amazon saving your gas. This fitting is hard to seal on plastic fresh water tanks. Drill a proper sized hole without slop and consider marine type caulk or cut gasket.
