Gloom Second Edition Expansion Unwelcome Guests

Adds a new family + the homes mechanic thus base making playable by 5 or more.

Very fun expansion pack to Gloom. It takes the original gloom game which is 4 player (using complete families) and takes it to 5 players with the potential to go to 6. Perfect for get together with friends where 6 players is perfect.

A great add on pack to the orginal game when it started to get a little bit stale. There are some very over powered cards in the deck, but still its fun to play. The cards also have a distinctive mark in the bottom right corner that let you know its from this pack so you can seperate them from the main deck if you want to.

Gloom is an excellent game and I suspect this is an equally excellent expansion but I don't know yet. My set arrived with a serious degree of warp to the cards which meant it was not possible to mix these cards with my base game. Obviously there is a storage issue here causing the plastic cards to warp and bend over time. They should use these facilities to store bananas, not cards.

Great fun family game. We have lots of the expansions which stops it becoming boring and gives a lot more hours of interesting game play.Quite pricey, but beautifully made so if game design and aesthetic is something you are into this is a good investment!

The characters are unique and mysterious. Play with your family and friends and see what kind of mystery arises. Play a different character each time you play and see how the game changes. Really fun to play.

This is the most amazing game! The stories that you can come up with the describe the cards you use are hilarious! This is the perfect dark sarcastic game to play for any lovers of creepy satirical fun! The cards are clear with parts organized into layering information that can be quickly recognized and used during game play. The instructions are super simple and easy to follow. It's also customizable to house rules. Getting the extra packs add so much fun to the base game I honestly recommend getting every single one of them.

I love the new characters this expansion adds to the game, and the option to pile mysteries onto residences brings the whole game itself even closer to its romantic Gothic roots (the classic novels, after all, are named for the estates in which they take place). This adds oodles of fun to what is already a great time.
