These transformers arrived in a static proof plastic bag. Inside, each transformer is in its own cardboard box.When they first arrived I tested them and one was outputting 11.81V and the other 11.82V (see pictures).I’m not using these to power LED lights. I’m using them to power CCTV cameras. I have a camera mounted near a PIR floodlight and there’s already a mains supply into a weatherproof junction box for the light. The camera was supplied with a UK 3 pin power adaptor which is too big to fit into the junction box. With this transformer I was able to connect the inputs to the existing mains feed and attach a screw on plug (https://amzn.eu/d/2e19F0q) to the output wires to power the camera. There’s plenty of room in the existing junction box to fit this transformer and cables in.The power supply supplied with the camera was 1A so the 1.5A of this transformer is more than enough to cope.It’s now been powering the camera for a few weeks without any problems.These little transformers are really useful where you need 12V from a 240V mains supply and space is limited. They really simplified wiring up the camera for me, performance is good and at £19.99 for two they’re reasonably priced so they get 5 stars.

Putting together a craft project for Halloween and everything seems to have its own plug which are all different lengths and it seems a massive waste. I'm not an electrician but I can use a soldering iron and have some basic competency when it comes to wiring. Cue this, cut the plug off and use some wago style connectors to group the wires together in a waterproof junction box, now I can power everything from one since plug and as a bonus I was able to create a long wire to the plug end so I don't have to risk leaving power strips outside. Not a huge amount of wire on each end of this but sufficient to manipulate inline or as I've done into some junction boxes. Pleased overall with the size and the fact its waterproof.

Der Trafo ist komplett versiegelt und ist von äußeren Einflüssen geschützt. Trotzdem sollte der Trafo nicht direktem Sonnenlicjt ausgesetzt werden.Die Kabeldurchmesser sind auf den Fotos zu sehen. Das die Kabel verlötet sind ist deren Außendurchmesser etwas größer, aber es handelt sich um Drahtlitze mit Querschnitt 0,75mm².Die Eingangspannung ist normaler Haushaltsstrom AC 220V und wird dann auf DC 12V 15W (1.25A) gewandelt. Der Abnehmer sollte eine Leistung von maximal 12 Watt haben. Meine Kameras benötigen DC 12V 12W (1.0A). Ein Trafo sollte nicht auf seine Maximallast verwendet werden, sondern der Abnehmer sollte bei 80% der Leistung des Trafos liegen, daher wurde hier ein 15 Watt Trafo verwendet, obwohl nur 12 Watt benötigt werden.Das Produkt läuft so weit gut und die Kameras laufen 24/7. Ein guter Trafo auch für Außen zu einem sehr gutem Preis.

Hallo, leider ist unser Trafo nach ca 1 Jahr kaputt gegangen. Ich habe in Summe 4 davon in Verwendung. Einer hat nun einen Totalausfall (Sicherung geflogen) das ganze Innenleben hat sich vom gehäuse gelöst. Wirklich wertig ist das nicht.Aktualisiert auf 1 Stern -->Update. 2 von 4 gekauften Trafos sind nun defekt. Bin mehr als sauer, da die Trafos für mich an einer schwer erreichbaren Stelle sind und sogar extra nochmals in einem Schacht unter der Erde. Absolut ohne Wasser und kühl.Qualität ist Note 5- mittlerweile. Noch dazu ist diese Led Beleuchtung sehr selten ein und der Trafo in keinster Weise großartig belastet.Hoffe ich konnte helfen. Für mich ein absoluter Fehlkauf mit viel Aufwand...

Nutze die Netzteile für Außenkameras in Hohlwanddosen im Dachkasten. Spannung und Stromstärke sind stabil.ACHTUNG!!!! Die Trafos sehen zwar so aus, aber sie passen leider nicht flach in eine 61 mm tiefe z.B. winddichte 68 mm ○ Kaiserdose/Unterputzdose/Hohlwanddose. Auch wenn hier manch Einer was anderes erzählt!!!!Hochkant geht es gerade so. Dabei nimmt das Netzteil aber den kompletten Platz in der Dose ein, so dass ein Schalter oder Ähnliches nicht mehr davor installiert werden kann. Auch für 5 doppel Wago Klemmen wirds sehr, sehr eng!! Abgedeckt, habe ich dann mit flachen Kabelauslass-Abdeckungen.Tip: Die Netzteile passen auch nicht in extra Elektronik-Hohlwanddosen!!!Vorsicht, die Kanten der Aluminium Gehäuse sind scharfkantig. Einfach kurz mit der feinen Feile brechen um Kabelschäden in der Dose zu vermeiden!Wie lange sie halten, wird die Zeit zeigen. Ich hoffe!!! 🙏🏼

Das Netzteil liefert mit ca. 11,4 V eine geringere Spannung als angegeben
