Bonkers
A surreal montage of absurd deaths, mass school shootings by angry faculty, young asian girls in school uniforms being attacked by a "weird" breeze and then gift wrapped in a somewhat sardonic bow for angry, lefty feminists. What's not to like - as an over-worked, white, middled aged man?

I saw it once, then I wanted to see it again.
Saw the directors Prisoners of the Ghostland with Nicolas Cage and thought that was engrossingly out there, yet undeniably fascinating. This earlier film is sort of that kinda experience dialled up to 11.Loved it personally, but it’s visceral weirdness, and eventual resolution won’t be for everyone.

"..WEIRD BUT CRAZY FUN.."
PLOT...A girl's life cascades into chaos as everyone around her suffers a gruesome fate while she becomes less certain of who she is and her once-once normal.I'm not a critic who looks into movies quite that deep, and I'm not pretending I knew what the hell is going on in this movie but I enjoyed it non the less, its a movie that on the surface is completely bonkers but it has deep meaning and is laced with feminism and homosexuality and tons of symbolism. I think many people will come out of it with different ideas and opinions, however if like me you just enjoy watching crazy Japanese movies then look no further, TAG is certainly that! There's more gore in this movie than 10 horror movies put together, its like a bomb in a butchers shop, blood and limbs flying every way quite consistently throughout the run time, girls being chopped in half, girls getting shot up with assault rifles, and other imaginative bloody deaths, I'm quite surprised this movie received a 15 certificate as I've seen less gory 18 rated movies. The movie also has a good cast, mostly consisting of cute Japanese girls in their uniforms, this is certainly worth picking up if this is your kind of movie, whether or not you get it, its still fun and worth watching once even if its for the gore, especially the crazy bus sequence at the beginning.EUREKA Blu-ray has a good picture quality, you also get the DVD version.NO special features which is a shame, 2015, 85mins, Japanese with English subtitles.

Surreal
Its horror in a time capsule where a schoolgirl seems to change bodies 3 times, living a different life each time but few know what is actually happening. The horror is everyone seems to die around her, and for me the horror was in Triendl's face. Good support acting, which at one time I though it was going into a lesbian relationship or they were just very close friends. You were left guessing. The feathers gave it away! The ending was surreal. This is an unusual film with questions, hopefully it's answered or maybe not but put in its place at the end.

It was ok for the most part...
I like watching foreign movies cos they're different and tend not to follow Western standards and this movie certainly does that... for the most part. It was also very confusing until near the end when it started making a little sense.*Spoiler warning*However, the very, very ending became very predictable Westernised even feminist dross (basically an 'evil males being bad to Artificial females via computer games' nonsense) and that's the only part which saved it getting 5 stars.*End Spoiler warning*But the beginning and middle and the whole weirdness of it was pretty good.

A very surreal delicacy. 8 out of 10 cats will do better avoiding this.
Art-house blended with grind-house. Almost entirely metaphorical. This is not a movie made for the mainstream. There's a lot of people that will hate this, and there's nothing wrong with that. If you enjoy mainstream movies then try 'Tag (2018)' instead, and give this a miss. However, if you enjoy experiencing the weird and the wonderful of cinema, and like challenging films then give this a go. I personally really enjoyed it.

A Titillating Tsunami of Topsy-Turvy, Time-Travelling Terror ...
Like a live-action anime with fan-service, this crazy film hops between high-school horror and surreal sci-fi, and features a gorgeous cast of Japanese girls, who like to show off their panties whenever they get the chance.I don't quite know what to think. Is it pervy? Well, yes I suppose it is, but there's more to it than up-skirt shots of pre-pubescent schoolgirls - mostly played by street-legal twenty-somethings - and it does have a story to it - sort of.Worth watching, but not worth taking seriously. Because life's a joke, isn't it?

Marvellously silly
Mad story with loads of pristine white underwear on display (quite deliberate) but fun all the same.
