Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Colour Edn)

We read this as part of our distance learning over the summer and both of my boys loved it. It was a good level for both my 4th grader and my 6th grader. Roald Dahl does not disappoint with all of his descriptive text. A deliciously fun and clever read!

I was looking for a classic to read with my six year old to start expanding his vocabulary and exercise his imagination. This was the book to do just that! He loved it so much that he would wake up first thing in the morning to ask if we could read it.

READ IT. Perhaps keep a favorite bar of chocolate on hand for a self-created immersive experience. Word requirement now met.

It was great as a read aloud to my kids. They thought it was very funny and got them interested in other Roald Dahl books.

this is a nice story but we cannot buy it . why? Willy Wonka is the best chocolate maker in the world.

It is very cool and I loved but can get boring still very good book for 9 year old or 10 year old

There is a British euphemism for “Christ” used repeatedly. The behavior of some of the characters is truly grotesque.

"Charlie and Chocolate Factory" is written by Roald Dahl. It has over 1 million copies sold !I think is one It was published in 1979.In the book, a young boy named Charlie Bucket who belongs to a poor family is amazed by a chocolate factory. Roald Dahl tells an incredible story about adventures of Charlie in the factory along with its odd owner, Mr.Willy Wonka.This book is very magical it is good for age 6 to 9 I recommend you buy this book for your child. And you could read this book to a 3 to 4 year old child too. My 9 years old son love it !!! You should purchase it today online. The reason I like this book is I could feel the author enjoyed writing the book. And I think the illustrator drew goofy drawings to make children laugh. I give this book 5 stars.
