I was able to use a youtube video to see how to open the machine and replace the motor. And now my machine is quiet again. Luckily, because otherwise the noise my CPAP machine was making was going to end my relationship! Plus it saved me a ton of money from having to buy a new machine!

Fixed my wheezing CPAP, and was fairly easy to install using the iFixit video. Very cost-effective solution; hope it lasts longer than the OEM motor (2.5 years).

Got tired of fighting with the VA when my CPAP started making noise. Finally decided to take measures to fix it myself. What a life saver!! Arrived on time, the link to the video instructions were top notch, and about 30 minutes later I had a fully functioning machine and my CPAP problems were over. Works like new now and quieter. Maybe a bit expensive, but the time and effort it saved me more than made up for it. If you think you can’t replace your own motor, you’re mistaken. Try it and thank me later.

The output on my resmed 9 was getting weak, and I could tell it was not correcting my apnea. Based on various searches, I decided to try replacing the pump. Ordered this, and followed the video. Easy peasy. Unit is back to high output. I notice no increase in noise.

If your CPAP motor is failing, it's best to go see your doc and get a new CPAP. This replacement motor seemed to work, but after a week or two it is struggling to keep pressure - my sleep quality has gone down the tubes. Should have gone to the doc to get a new CPAP in the first place. Again, this motor seems to work - but your mileage may vary!

This is a review of an after-market motor/turbine for my ResMed AirCutve 10 Vauto, set for BiPap. While I’m no stranger to tools and how things work, I haven’t repaired an appliance in a very long time. So I was a little nervous when I began taking everything apart, knowing that if I screwed this up, I’d have to fork out a hefty sum to replace it, not to mention the frustration (& sleepless nights crossing my fingers, hoping/praying it doesn’t stop working)) of waiting on the process of getting a new one. Arrived in 2 days, perfectly protected. A QR code is included in the packaging, with a link to YouTube CPAP Reviews, who charges .99 cents (you can cancel anytime) to gain access to the instructional video. The video instructions were easy to follow, even if I did have to stop & back up several times to be sure everything was aligned correctly. I took additional time to “wash” all the dusty parts with vinegar & distilled water, getting into all dirty crevices with an Q-Tip & allowed everything to air dry, before proceeding. Took me about 2.25 hours for the entire process-including a break while parts were drying. An astute, more confident & efficient person would probably take an hour, tops. Sure beats paying out $1200 again & well worth the time & effort! Respiratory medical equipment companies should be ashamed of fleecing us, the way they do!

I used this motor to replace the motor in my ResMed S9. There are no instructions included in the box. So I followed the directions in the YouTube video titled "RedMed S9 Motor Replacement Tutorial - Motor Life Exceeded" by "CPAP Reviews". Excellent tutorial. I purchased this tool kit from Amazon: "15 in 1 Torx Screwdriver Set with T3 T4 T5 T6 T8 T10 Security Torx screwdriver and ESD tweezers, Magnetic Screwdrivers Precision Repair Kit for Xbox, iPhone, PS4, Macbook, Watch, Electronics". ASIN: B08HT13TDC I needed that tool kit because I didn't have a T10 Torx screwdriver. The screwdriver bits are supposed to be magnetic, but those magnets didn't seem very strong to me. I also didn't have long-nose tweezers. The tweezers come in handy when disconnecting the circuit board of the S9 from the frame. The video discusses this from about 2:00 to 2:50. The content creator makes do with standard tweezers, but I think it's much easier with long-nose tweezers. I didn't keep exact track of how long it took me to replace the motor. If I had to guess, maybe an hour. I didn't think it was too difficult to change the motor. It was definitely easier to change this motor than it was to change the battery in my iPhone 5s a several years ago. I used my CPAP machine last night and everything seems totally fine. One downside to changing your own motor is that there's no way for an end-user to get rid of the nag warning message: "Motor Life Exceeded, please contact service provider". It also does not reset the run time of your device, which you can view by: 1. Press both rectangular buttons at the same time 2. scroll down to the wrench 3. press the button and you should see the service menu 4. View your "Run Hrs" Good luck!

Was a great fit for my Resmed AirSense 10. The internals look a little different but it works great, much quieter than the worn out fan I was replacing. My only complaint was that I didn’t notice it was coming directly from China and delivery took a week longer than expected.

Check Youtube if you need help with the install. The CPAP machine was making terrible noises now it's quiet and working like new. The supplier wanted $500 to do this! You need a few simple tools. Check the video first Highly recommend.

I finally got around to installing this motor. It was very easy, The maker provided a qr code to a video, which was very easy to follow, and well explained through every step. Very happy with the result!

Works well in my aircurve 10...saved me from purchasing a new machine.. Will buy again... (now have 2 spare motors in the house)
