As others have stated, the battery life is very short.Nice looking clock, but mechanically something is draining the batteries much too quickly.Would not recommend.

Couldn't find many clocks that had all these features and this one is more affordable than many. I like that it has a "stand", so you don't have to put it on a wall and it's battery operated. Wish it were a little brighter, though.

When I received the clock it worked for three months, the batteries drained. I put in brand NEW batteries, Max Energizers. It hold the charge for 10 days-the batteries were drain. AA Batteries and AAA when new they have a charge over 1.5 V. Using my Klein voltmeter the voltage drop to 0.66V AA and 1.39V AAA. Note it appears that the AA were damage since all AA batteries had a slow drain reading below (0.43V).2nd Try; using NEW AA and AAA. Ten days later the device had no display. Batteries drain again. Suggestion: recall or a dd an AC plug as a back up.

Excellent clock

When this clock came in and I put it on my wall, I LOVED it! I also loved the little paper template that came with it to help me know where to put the nails in the wall to hang it. So appearance and functionality gets a 5 out of 5 starts. However, the batteries need to be changed every month and it requires 4 batteries! I've had it for 3 months now and I've had to change the batteries 3 times. Since the batteries are not rechargeable, I'm constantly throwing way batteries and I don't like that, so I will be getting rid of this clock and will replace it with something that has a longer battery life. My analogue clock requires 1 battery and it lasts for several years.

Bought this for my classroom at the beginning of the school year and after a semester I had to replace all SIX batteries (2 AAA and 4 AA) TWICE! Had the backlight on at first and it died in a month. Turned the back light off (couldn’t tell the difference when it was on or off) and it died about a month and a half later. Better digital clocks out there.

We loved this clock and it was perfect until the date and temperature disappeared. Very disappointed.The time is still there but we bought it for all of the features.Update… after replacing all of the batteries - our clock is working fine. Should have tried troubleshooting before review.US Rexs LLC immediately sent an email with an offer to refund our money. I appreciate that but we are keeping the clock. Thank you! One of the main reasons I bought this wall clock was because of the backlight. I wanted to be able to see the display while watching TV in low lighting. But the backlight is worthless!! The display is hard enough to read in daylight but cannot be read at night. So, I am stuck with a overpriced wall clock, because it is not worth the trouble to return it. Very disappointed.Update: Upon receiving my review comments, the company contacted me and offered to either replace the defective clock or provide a full refund. I chose to receive the refund. The same day, they informed me that they had processed the refund and that I should receive it within about 3 days. Even though the clock I received was defective, this company's customer service is excellent. I would consider buying from them again.
